Santa Rosa Basin Groundwater Advisory Panel Community Meeting
I want to let everyone know about upcoming community meetings that will address the Santa Rosa Groundwater Basin status. Here's the blurb:
From the Ground Up: Groundwater in the Santa Rosa Plain
The USGS is about to introduce the Phase 2 report which will provide us all with a great deal of information on groundwater and the surface water/groundwater interaction, plus a couple of potential projections looking forward to what we might expect in specific scenarios.
Attend one of four community meetings to learn about this shared “invisible resource” and get your questions answered. The meeting will focus on the Santa Rosa Plain Groundwater Management Plan, which is being developed by a diverse group of stakeholders called the Santa Rosa Plain Basin Advisory Panel, a new modeling system for surface and groundwater interaction developed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and what all this means to you.
