Police have vanished [ and other things ]

So, amongst other oddities has been the unnerving realization that police presence is now nonexistent. I didnt hear anything about mass firings or resignations, at least not enough to account for the vacant streets that I am seeing all over the northeast.

On Saturday my wife and I took a ride to Chris’ neck of the woods, north western Mass. It was a 2 hour ride and took us from upstate NY, into and across Vermont, and down into Massachusetts. We didnt see one police car the entire trip, there and back. For those who may not be familiar with this area, that is extremely unusual. I would say, for the past 20 years or so we have been living in a rising police state.

Normally, I wouldnt be able to drive 10 minutes without passing a patrol car. The highways and county routes were always populated with patrol cars stalking motorists left and right. Ive always felt that police spend way too much time harassing motorists and its obvious that its become a revenue generating enterprise but THIS is too sudden, too complete.

Today I took a ride to do some business, about an hour and a half each way, through 3 medium sized rural towns….not ONE police car. Not one. Unless they fired 90% of the force…its very mysterious and you have to wonder where these guys are and what they are doing? Are they hiding out in the police stations? One assumes we are still paying these guys….and if the states’ needed the revenue from these traffic shakedowns….why dont they need it now? Where is that money coming from?

Another weird thing Ive noticed is people’s driving. Today while out driving I was taking a curve in the road. There was a pickup truck in front of me and a van comes out of nowhere driving literally on the wrong side of the road. He was heading directly at the guy in front of me. The guy hit his brakes and pulled to the right, all the way to the shoulder, but the van kept coming. At the last possible second the van driver turned his wheel. Ive never seen anything like it in my life.

The guy in the pickup pulled over and sat there, the van took off and I pulled over to see if the guy was alright. Older guy, visibly shaken. Neither of us could believe what just happened. The guy’s hands were shaking as he was talking to me. If the pickup hadnt have veered to the right and jammed on his brakes it would have been a head on collision. The van was going fast enough that they both would have been killed.

An hour later Im driving down the road, on a similar type of curve, and the car coming in the opposite direction swerves over the line, into my lane! I jam on the break and cut hard to the right. She pulled hard back in the other direction and we avoided a similar collision to the one I just saw not more than an hour before! WTF? what are the odds?

I think it might have been Clif High or somebody who suggested we would start seeing accidents and weird behavior from the vaxxed and breakdowns in society as people start getting sick or having cognitive issues. I really have to wonder whether that is what I am seeing. Put that together with all the cancelled flights, the shutdowns in the fire departments…we might be on the cusp of something really bad here.

I always seem to be the one that gets those lane crossers on the blind curves.  In fact I ate a drunk driver back a couple decades ago.   Good thing , I was driving a tank.

However, just yesterday, the family ( with kids ) and I were traveling, and someone came over the line, not just a little bit. But fully half in our lane.  We were all shaken, thinking, yeah have seen a few people go wide just bit.  But this guy was just ignoring the curve.  AND we just had a conversation about careful of vaccinated drivers aiming 2ton weapons at us last week.  And this was the same day, a friend noted some freak accidents in our hood.   Like 5 car pile up on a residential.  Where two cars were totally demolished, looking like fatalities.   We had never seen this type accident , unless intentional, or heart attack.. I am not sure you could even expect this with a drunk. And it was the middle of the day.

We are starting to see a lot of this.

One more thing –  In my area , I have noted emergency vehicle sirens may 2- 3 times per year.   We are hearing them 1-2 times per day ( yes every day now )  We all joke at my house: “there goes another vaccinated idiot.”

Live in a small town. No change. But I am seeing lots of vax injuries being reported and I am patiently waiting for lemmings to start noticing.

I saw that one of the side effects of the vax is inner ear problems? People driving and getting dizzy spells.

I was just in a local convenience store here in Jersey. I saw a local headline about an increase in traffic accidents. I didn’t read the article but the first thing I thought was that it might be related to the vaccines.

There will always be gung ho cops who will maximize their enforcement activities, but these days the majority of cops (especially in big cities and minority communities) are doing their best to protect themselves by minimizing their interactions with criminals and the public. The aftermath of the George Floyd incident in Minneapolis and the “Defund The Police” movement only served to supersize the already active “Ferguson Effect.” There has been debate among “experts” and talking heads whether the “Ferguson Effect” is real but when you talk to real cops who believe they have anonymity they’ll tell you it’s real.

Road rage is also getting more frequent, and weirder. Here’s one from Portland, OR where sanity has mostly vanished. It’s fake sword vs. shotgun.

“The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration today released the Early Estimate of Motor Vehicle Traffic Fatalities for the First Half (January-June) of 2021, which shows the largest six-month increase ever recorded in the Fatality Analysis Reporting System’s history. An estimated 20,160 people died in motor vehicle crashes in the first half of 2021, up 18.4% over 2020. That’s the largest number of projected fatalities in that time period since 2006.”

No change in my area. I live in a fairly conservative county. Lots of “Back the Blue” flags.

Maybe there were a number of officers out with Covid or in quarantine???

Aus beat me to it. Yes – ‘Vaxidents’ is what Clif is calling it. Mr High has been recounting incidents similar to the ones described above.

I’ve definitely been driving more defensively recently.

We’ve also been noticing lots of ambulance sirens in last few months.

On a Twitter feed the other day we saw a story about a shortage of paramedics in the BC Interior. It claimed they were short 50 in the Okanagan corridor (155km north to south).

Don’t get hurt and end up in hospital.

Somewhat related story, I have trouble getting vendors to actually show up these days. Guys out sick for weeks with illness that is inexplicable. Healthy, fit middle aged guys. Every vendor I hire now gives me a timeline for work completion and then half whispers the caveat”if the guys quit getting sick”.

The security supervisor at the property I manage has had a cold (tested negative for covid) for about two weeks now. Common cold symptoms, can’t shake the wet cough though.

Saw a story recently that the UK is getting their asses kicked by the common cold. Another coronavirus against the vaccinated immune system.

I think there is real illness spreading. I had a thread back in may yalking about ambulances everywhere in my small town. It was twice a week I’d see ambulances rush to the house lights and sirens blaring, then with a full gourney they drive off quietly.

Yeah, we haven’t even begun to see the toll of this thing. I think with or without the jab, no one will have jobs come next year. There’s just too many people vaccinated, and too many in critical positions creating bottlenecks and breakdown. We will see cities (particularly heavy blue and vaxed areas like Seattle) where the city is all but vacant. Its going to be an interesting year ahead for sure.
