    Ozone Generator for Corona Virus

After viewing several of the videos that Chris has on youtube, I have a question that I could not find the answer to anywhere.  Would an ozone generator work to sterilize used masks and clothing for the Corona Virus?  I recently bought one to remove the cigarette smell from a garage where tenants were smoking.  Worked unbelievably well, and the manufacturer claims that it will kill any organic cells and compounds.  If this is the case, I don’t think they would still be available on Amazon, etc., but I thought it was still worth asking.

Ozone is not approved for medical use in the USA to the best of my knowledge, even though the rest of the world uses it.

Ozone irritates mucous membranes and is highly corrosive to electronics and ionically charged surfaces (which include small organisms)

It kills molds and fungi.  Viruses may also succumb.

What about ozone I ordered a small generator to use with an aquarium with a cover to contain the gas. Now maybe I should have bought a room deorderizer generator and set up a closet in the garage or a tall tent put a pipe inside to hang clothing no and blow in ozone perhaps the garge like an air lock to the house the ozone would sterilize the room after you enter the house. set the timer and let it do its thing there would have to be rentry time before you can renter the garage to let the ozone deactivate or dissipate. this way you could keep as much contaminated material outside the house. thanks CCBW

    Ozone Generator for Corona Virus

this is from tha national ozone/oxidation association https://www.noai.org/does-ozone-damage-rubber Now they want to sell generators but all cleaning do a small amount of damage all be it light. here is the lead: The rumor that ozone can damage rubber or plastic in a home is a very dated topic. So, let’s clear this up. To make the point properly, let’s go back to what ozone is and how it works. Ozone is oxygen. It has been enriched from the standard O2 molecule to an O3 molecule. We are told that ozone is “Reactive”, which means it will react with other compounds or elements. That reaction is not an explosion or a noxious gas. The reaction is OXIDATION. By the way, normal exposure to O2 oxygen and/or UV light will react on the same compounds or elements.

Ozone (O3, O5, O7 etc.)  is a reactive (unstable) form of oxygen and will oxidize (think RUST) charged bodies, such as electronics or electrical equipment if exposed for sufficient time in concentration.

Oxygen is stable as O2, so ozone breaks down into O2 + O- and it is the O- which does the damage to viruses and your expensive stereo equipment.

    Ozone Generator for Corona Virus

There is much misinformation about the use of ozone and in particular its clinical use. As an ozone clinician I find it very effective for many clinical applications.  The research is clear it is very effective against viruses. Just google corona virus and ozone. There is an excellent post from China. For you specific question ozone is very effective at disinfection. For more detailed information visit http://www.oxygenhealingtherapies.com or see my post in topic “Ozone Therapy as NPI”.

AS a ozone practitioner using it clinically for dental applications the best, cleanest generators certified for medical applications are produced in Victoria, Canada by Longevity Resources.  All tubing is medical grade silicone.
