It’s now legal in New Brunswick to ban us from grocery shopping. Give it a month and it’ll be country-wide, I fear.

my plan if that happens, get a friend or neighbor that CAN go into stores to get you things…And go to farmers markets. or start a swap group. one person makes pickles another apple sauce..just a few ideas..let not let the effetes win…

so let me say there are many wild edibles out there..Here are some good books.

I live in USA but still…

the joy of foraging

the wild wisdom of weeds

eat the trees

and any of the Tom Brown jr. books are very helpful

hope this helps..

Well who wants to go into environments anyway, where 90% of the other customers are busy shedding their recent third vaccine jab into the air?

I guess I do. You couldn’t possibly know this, but I have spinal stenosis. I can walk about a block – and it hurts. I live in a city.

I suppose you could say ‘who cares?’ about loss of basic rights, but even people who hate grocery stores ought to be a little unnerved at the thought of being banned from them, no?

Don’t blame me. You voted for him.

He does have a most adorable listhp, not so ladies? I’ll bet he got it at drama school. As fake as a 13 dollar bill.

A rather insensitive comment, not to mention chauvinist, Arthur.
I don’t know anyone who isn’t amazed that he managed to get the votes again. Chanah I can appreciate what you are saying. Foraging isn’t possible in winter in Canada even if you were physically stronger and Farmers Markets are usually only open in the summer. Gardening…..well a few things can be grown indoors but again it is mostly a seasonal thing here. Canadian winters pose a whole set of challenges that people from the south don’t have to deal with. Gather what you can when you can…find a place to keep some basic survival foods concealed and rely on a friend to shop for you if that becomes an issue. Keep in mind though that you don’t want to advertise your vax status.

Anyone see this. If it was real it was deleted.

Arthur! I didn’t even vote for him the first time, let alone now.

This is all so depressing I don’t even know what to say when buying food is not even a basic human right. And I’ve been to New Brunswick. The population is so low and density is not an issue. How are all these measures even necessary.

Yes, you are right, I was being facetious and I apologize. Sometimes black humour helps me but it doesn’t always come across well.
