Mandatory Vaccines, Travel and Keeping Job
Have you all thought about how you will handle the mandates around vaccines? My family and I are trying to plan for the inevitable. They will force us. They will track us. They will try and control us and “we will own nothing”. How are you planning around this? Does this mean no more air travel, no visiting mom who lives in another country? Will my job force the needle/evil syrup….? How are you guys thinking through this? Will there be an exception and how do we get on that list. I have heard crazy stuff in Canada about quarantine camps which sound a little too close to Nazi Germany. I assume with Biden and Kamala, we are not far away from that. What say you?
Will never happen. They will and do force vaccines on children. But to me that seems unconstitutional – That is why I do not live in state like NY. Make it mandatory for child for school. but not for a 58 year old congressmen. SO, heck no.. They will see the end of barrel or knife of something even worse if they think they will force vaccinations. I am sure there are many in this camp. My understanding is they will not go door to door to implement such a thing. Especially with no long-term safety data. Can the stop airline travel. Yes. but heck if the airlines want to put a bullet in whats left to their industry , so be it. I doubt yu will be unable to travel by car. I do not see any of this stuff coming. AND if it does, I do see much bigger problems for local and federal govts , you will really likely see a civil war. This garbage , i have take medicine for your health is bs.. we might be able to talk. if you actually took care and paid for all the sick citizens in the country but when they pay astronomical fees for it or cant get it.. NO NO NO you cannot do vaccines.
Pfizer exec admits “don’t know if the vaccine will prevent contracting/spreading the virus.” Good to know that his D-bag doesn’t mind false advertising about 90% effective and then selling it en masse.
Just one day after the United Kingdom became the first western nation to approve the inoculation, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla says that he is “not certain” that the company’s vaccine will prevent people from carrying and spreading the virus to others.
In a Thursday night interview with NBC, the CEO expressed confidence in the ability “to send vaccines within 24 hours basically [anywhere] in the U.S.” after receiving emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration, but he remains unconfident in the vaccine’s ability to be a silver bullet against people carrying and transmitting COVID-19.
“Even though I’ve had the protection, am I still able to transmit it to other people?” NBC’s Lester Holt asked, to which Bourla responded:
“I think this is something that needs to be examined. We are not certain about that right now.”
Last month, Pfizer announced that its vaccine – developed along side BioNTech – proved over 90% effective in giving immunity. Although this statistic on its face sounds remarkable, researchers have warned that the clinical trials did not assess whether the vaccine can prevent the virus from spreading.
“We have no knowledge about whether it prevents you from actually acquiring the infection at all,” Dr. Larry Corey, a virologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, told Business Insider.
Does anybody have any info regarding the safety of the these new vaccines? Hearing a lot of conflicting information.
Biden just said in a news conference he does not want mandatory vaccines. (True) But President Harris quickly corrected him. (Joke)
I think you may be confusing civil war with revolution?
revolt may be more correct. but being -everything in the US is blue and red and black and white. Why not? My body , my choice. I have to take medicine to protect you.. Yeah that can definitely go both ways.. those who expect you to do stuff for them and those who want to do stuff for themselves.
The government will not “mandate” vaccines for everyone. It will be given to kids in schools. Your job will require it, Airlines, Banks, Walmart, Amazon, Ups, Fedex, etc. The government might mandate restaurant and bar workers but that is it.
80 million heavily armed deplorables who already don’t want to wear a mask? hahahaha. May the odds be always in your favor
The way I’ve come to look at it is that I am playing for time here.
I’m fundamentally “pro-vax” but have a problem with this fundamentally new (mRna) approach being rushed on us.
In my home province about 30% get the flu-shot each year. Im gonna pretend thats the North American average. I’m also gonna pretend that by spring 2022, its reasonable to think that 50% of people would have gotten this vaccine at the most between supply constraints and the vaccine hesitant.
And so, as NordicJack alluded to will the already near bankrupt airlines really turn away 50% of their potential customers just to virtue signal? They will talk a good game but its all about the $$$ for corporates in the end. It is for everyone really.
On a darker note, I have allowed myself to daydream that various govt leaders will blame the not-yet-vaccinated for the need to continue various restrictions. The messaging will be along the lines that anyone unhappy about losing their house for lack of employment can ask those anti-science fuckers what gives them the right to hold the whole world hostage to their backwards superstitions.
In short, there is no mandate coming (lets say in the next 2 years at least) but the psychological pressure to get this vaccine is going to be enormous. I would focus on coping strategies for that more than anything.
As of now Im thinking that if after 2 years, nothing crazy is turning up in the health system (side effects or ADE problems) then I will re-evaluate because as I said Im not really anti-vax.
the information doesn’t exist. this is new technology, and thus there is no way to know if they’re safe. (they’re probably not). Web search the new lawsuit from Michael Yeadon, former VP at Pfizer
