    Locating resilient communities in Texas

Hello, everybody,

I have lived in the Houston area 37 years and am looking for a resilient community away from the big Texas cities for retirement. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

johnburleigh

    Resilient Community in Virginia

If you are willing and able to relocate, we are developing a resilient community in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia.  We are a community of 99 homes built around an existing farm operation with 165-acres of apple orchards, a vineyard and award-winning winery, and sheep, cattle and horse pastures.  The land is some of the most beautiful in the entire country (but unfortunately is also correspondingly expensive).  The mountains provide a natural buffer for privacy, yet Charlottesville (voted the best town in America) is only 15 minutes away by 4-lane divided highway. You can watch a short video about the property at:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koMO7o4GdkQ .  For more information, you can contact me directly at brad.brady@verizon.net.
