    Ivermectin Prophylaxis Protocol

Are people saving the dosages left in the syringe despite it saying to discard any remaining? I don’tlike to waste it but if it becomes ineffective………..?

    Answer to Blood red peony

Blood red,  I did a fairly deep dive into your question recently in another thread.. did you see it?  I suggest that reuse is fine in the short term, i.e. a month or two, and I suggest a few ways to insure such.  Go to post #47 in this thread;

Ivermectin / HCQ / Azith or Doxycycline Dosage

Thanks Jim H, new here and keep forgetting to check the notify me of reply box then can’ refind my post – Duh. Will take a look.

    Rethinking Ivermectin Prophylaxis Protocol

Listening to Dr. Kory, I decided to go off the 1 week booster and change it to every 2 weeks. ( and maybe 3 weeks in the future).  He mentioned doing the 1 week booster for 8 weeks and then a “holiday”. I feel more comfortable with a smaller but more continuous amount of IVM in my system especially as it appears we are entering a new rash of COVID cases.  Any thoughts appreciated on higher dose with a holiday vs. consistent lower dose Prophylaxis.

    Ivermectin Prophylaxis Protocol

In the animal husbandry world, ivm is used for very infrequent prophylaxis, once every 90 days is the most frequent I’ve experienced. Husbands on the schedule are often derided for animal mgt. ie. get better genetics and change stocking density. In humans, ivm is for parasite control and a dose by weight/time is used and not again until…therefore I am a bit skeptical as to the safety of ivm for long term prophylaxis.

There is a shepherd, known to many of my friends, who takes 400 mg HCQ/wk along with the vitamin mix from medcram. This shepherd has lots of ivermectin and uses it on infected cows, sheep, horses, friends actively symptomatic with…. Not for prophylaxis .

IVM – with food or without?

Is IVM supposed to be taken at mealtimes or in between? Thanks.

We withhold food and water for 12 hrs on any animals to be treated. It helps efficacy.

Oliveoilguy: so true what you write.

Apropos the original question: a recent clip with the FLCCC peeps mentioned them updating their recommendations to once on day one, once on day three, then once per month, although the dosage is another matter. Cheers.

I’m going with bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) dosing, 12mg with a fatty meal, which spikes serum levels 2.5 times higher than when taken on an empty stomach with water.

https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2009/050742s026lbl.pdf

“Administration of 30 mg ivermectin following a high-fat meal resulted in an approximate 2.5 fold increase in bioavailability relative to administration of 30 mg ivermectin in the fasted state.”

This (12mg dosing with fatty meal) would produce serum equivalents of around 30mg empty stomach dosing.  Serum/plasma concentrations (Cmax) largely determine the amount of uptake into tissue, so brief, high spikes should induce the greatest uptake into pulmonary tissue.

I would NOT advise going over 12mg if you’re going to be dosing with a fatty meal.  A 30mg equivalent is a pretty big bump.  Recommend empty stomach dosing if you’re going with higher doses in the FLCCC protocol.

Though blood/serum half life is only 18 hours, I’ve heard tissue half life is 27 days.  Can’t find my source now, but I believe Dr Kory said this on one of the youtubes.

^ Interesting, so the 12mg recommendation is assuming an empty stomach / no bile in duodenum, right?

So if taking it with a small fatty meal, you could take 5mg (or 6mg as that’s the pill size) and save on precious material.

Nice!
