Ivermectin cures Anosmia
Hey guys.. sharing in case this is useful for any of you.
I’m going to share my recent experiences with Covid. I had a very mild case during my 2 week break from weekly Ivermectin. (Clearly there are no breaks allowed). I’m kind of glad I got it as I did need my paperwork to confirm positivity. I completely lost my smell approx 1.5 weeks ago… i mean completely. Couldn’t smell bleach, lemon, toothpaste, perfume…nothing strong… I mean nothing! I fell into an instant depression at the fear that I could lose it forever or for a long time. After doing some research as to what causes, I do see that there is inflammation that is the main cause. I started to take Ivermectin, aspirin, fish oil, vitamin c and also Llysine 500mg-2000mg. I noticed only after 7 days of this formula, I could gets hints of strong smells… (all the while, I was doing smell training at home sniffing anything I could including my essential oils (clove, lemon, eucalyptus, rose). There are 2 things that I believe were happening behind the scenes: 1) inflammation was being bought down through aspirin and fish oil 2) ivermectin and llysine were acting as anti-virals. anti-covid.
In case any of you encounter Anosmia which is quite shocking (to potentially lose your smell) I’m hoping this gives you hope I am approx 90% recovered and still have room to go but it took approx 2 weeks with this treatment to go from 0% to 90%.
I hope this helps the community.. please share!
Talk about a subject line not supported by the available data!
Most people who lose their sense of smell to covid regain it within 2-3 weeks. So you have mostly regained yours in what, 1.5 weeks? And you took not only ivermectin but a whole bunch of other vitamins and supplements during that time. Exactly how does this prove that “Ivermectin cures anosmia?”
I’m as pro-ivermectin as anyone, but let’s not go overboard here.
I’ve had a metallic taste in my mouth for 4 months since my suspected case. I was on IVM intermittently as the long-Covid symptoms would come and go every few weeks. Now it is finally starting to go away so for me, IVM didn’t seem to make a whole lot of difference to taste.
It would be great to have a bigger database, the priority being to help the Long Covid & people facing serious fights with Covid19.
I think I had a 4 hour version, with a symptom that was new for me – extreme nausea – without vomiting.
Made me lie down, gather a few garbage cans near the bed. Not much else happened.
You’re right. I don’t have proof. Merely conjecture. I’m still glad I have my smell. IVM May have lessened the damage?
I’m glad you have your smell back!! And didn’t have a worse case. Thanks for sharing!
I agree with the bigger database concept – somewhere we could track and aggregate all the experiences.
COVID19Crusher talks about the natural course of the disease vs the effects of a theraputic agent. (See chart below). Did securitygirl resolve her anosmia more rapidly with ivermectin than the average untreated case? We need a bigger database to figure out the answer.
Another n=1 case: my sister got her sense of smell back after 3 days on ivermectin; most of the rest of the symptoms resolved by day 5. Did ivermectin “cure covid19” for her? No. But it – probably – resolved the symptoms a lot faster than the normal course of the disease.
Related: elderberry doesn’t “cure the flu” – but in that trial, it resolved symptoms in 3 days, rather than the normal 7 days. Do you want to have symptoms for 3 days? Or 7?
This is super cool data!!! Thanks! Based on testimonies I’ve heard, I am one of the fastest cured out of a group of over 100! The most Astounding thing is once they ask me what are used to speed up my recovery and I mention Ivermectin, people literally goes silent. Its as if I mentioned witchcraft and I have lost my mind that I would bring up such a dirty word. I have met so many people that have lost their smell and taste for months and sometimes up to a year yet they won’t dare try the protocol that I mentioned I used. Some would even rather inject themselves with the vaccine before Ivermectin. Crazy times seriously!!!
My sense of smell was greatly compromised around 10 years ago due to Zicam:
Study Links Zinc Nose Sprays, Loss of Smell
I’ve just sort of been living with it, but noticed a change for the better over the last few months. Been on IVM prophylaxis since Thanksgiving and am also taking daily zinc.
Don’t know which one has benefited my recovering nose, but it’s wonderful to be able to stop & smell the roses once again.

Well there you go. Given your “database of 100 people”, your experience sounds like a win. Certainly its the one I’d pick, given a choice.
When you say the word ivermectin, people find themselves at a crossroads. They can either accuse you of lying to them (that’s what “the narrative” would tell them is happening), or – they have to adopt a brand-new worldview that says they’ve been lied to by “the media” and “Dr Fauci” in some very important ways.
There is really no middle ground.
“If this were really a thing, Dr Fauci would have said so. He’s the smartest and best Doctor alive today.”
So they are totally stuck – an insect, in amber. Most people are not ready to make such a large adjustment to worldview in real time. But – and this is just a guess – your comment definitely does have an impact.
You just may not see it.
