    Inflation vs Deflation

Chris, great job. Having just found your site I plan to direct neophytes on the EEE issues here for some education that is fairly comprehensive ad understandable to someone of average intelligence. I hope you plan to explain why you beleive that inflation will be the final result of the trends you demonstrate. I thought the credit excesses, housing implosion going on now, increased unemployment sound a lot more like DEFLATIONARY trends. I agree that hyperinflation is a great risk, but the IMMEDIATE financial risk is deflation. A few years from now when the clamor for "something to be done" is deafening – then we will see the printing presses fired up.
