I should made the covid emergency pack but never got around to it
Friedrichs_teeth, one of the sentences in your last post stood out for me.
There is a pain on my right hand side about belly button level and my headache is back with a vengeance.
I’m not a doctor, but the location of that pain on your right side suggests you might have an inflammed appendix. You’d better consult with a doctor pronto to rule that out. Appendicitis is something you do not want to experience! The pain from appendicitis often moves around and can mislead a person into thinking it is not from the appendix. Decades ago, my sister had a pain on her left side on her back. Her doctor correctly diagnosed her pain as being from appendicitis. Fever typically accompanies appendicitis. Antibiotics and very heavy dosing with Vitamin C might prevent an irritated appendix from becoming so inflammed that an operation is needed. Don’t try to treat this condition on your own. It sounds more serious than home remedies can handle.
Sorry you are still feeling bad.
You might consider a tele-med appointment to get your questions answered since you seem too ill to go out in public.
Maybe a beginning sinus infection since you have a headache? OTC Oxymetazoline nasal spray (they suggest using them for only 3-4 days to avoid addiction) and a hot shower might help.
I’m not sure if you read my earlier post but Dr. Chetty says (if you have Covid) it is really important to take antihistamines like Claritin if you are getting worse at this point. Also he suggests Pepcid (antihistamine for the gut) for any gastrointestinal involvement. The right side pain may indicate this.
A phone or video appointment with a nurse or doctor might be helpful otherwise you are just guessing.
Well that pain in my side just went away. I wasn’t concerned about an infected appendix, discobear, because during another surgery my appendix looked malformed and they just pulled it out.
Well the folks at Canadian FLCCC were a lifesaver. There is a sign up for the site link and from that email there is a sign up for care link. They got us antibiotics we needed and a fill up of other things we were running out of. Also they have an independent pharmacy that delivers ivm.
Hubby’s fever is gone and mine is down.
I have to admit I was a bit worried about you last night when you hadn’t posted. Covid patients can take bad turns.
Thanks for posting that link to the Canadian FLCCC. Im gonna follow up and try to find a doc in Calgary. Not because I expect to need help with Covid but because membership in a group like this is a good litmus test for the kind of doctor I want to have generally.
I have been very confused. Fevered dreams while awake. We counted my antibiotics and I didn’t take one. Hubby is now in charge of pill dispensing. I have a lung crackle still and am trying to sleep with a pillow under my hips. I am terribly dizzy. My fever is around 101.
I don’t seem to be getting better. Hubby seems to be better. Yay.
All I can say is water and vitamin C, multivutamin, rest.
Went to the er today at the request of the nurse practitioner. The doctor said my blood work looked good but there was a cloud at the corner of my lungs that would bring me a hard time. And then a crack about the vaccine. The guy had just saved a guy who came in code blue. So I can’t blame him. But if y’all have any good ideas, I’m all ears.
I have read all the comments so far and truly appreciated them.
The nurse said something about going outside in the cold bending over and coughing my lungs out. Another person suggested trying to sleep on my stomach. I tried last night. Didn’t fall asleep until I was on my side and woke up on my back (per usual).
Lay on your stomach hanging way over the edge if a high bed. Have Hubby percuss/pound on your lungs from your back in different places/ways.
This helps get stuff out.
I’ll try that.
My breath is getting shorter. If this is the end, I stand on the rock that is Jesus Christ and I hope to see some of you in heaven.
