I should made the covid emergency pack but never got around to it

So last Wednesday evening (or was it Thursday?) I had a bit of a cough and a headache. So next morning, I started my horsey medication. I took a shot of elderberry and my usual vitamins (quercetin, turmeric, b vitamins, and others). It was just a cough until Saturday morning I started coughing up phlegm. Lots and lots of phlegm. And a really really sore throat. Today I got a fever. I am usually 97.3 ish and today it was 99.8. Hubby also has a cough and a fever but isn’t as sick.

Does it sound like covid? I am still taking ivm, vit c, d, quercetin, and turmeric (and advil for the sore throat) . Anything else I should try? Should I make an appointment for a test?

Sorry to hear that you are sick.  Get fresh air and exercise if you are up for it.  Also don’t forget to gargle with mouthwash.  Then just rest and don’t let yourself worry.  It could be just a standard cold or flu.  You prepared your terrain and you should be fine in a few days.

If you haven’t had it before, get the test (presumably before the gargle).   If it comes back positive, frame it.

Make sure you are taking the right doses of each – including zinc – according to whichever protocol you are following. During active illness the doses are higher. But don’t delay because some things work in the early phase only . NAC is shown to be helpful. Niacin causes flushing,  don’t now if a no-flush derivative like niacinamide helps. Aspirin is contraindicated for some people, but is used in COVID as an anticoagulant. Other OTC drugs under investigation are claritin and pepcid AC. Do your research on each of these.

You can get budesonide on Amazon. It is a nasal spray. It can decrease viral load in your sinuses. It might even prevent loss of smell if your illness is indeed Covid 19.

Also a family member let me know about this:

Cytokine Suppress

She used it when she had Covid 19. She used IVM and recovered quickly but she took this as well.

I have a bottle at home, just in case.

I agree with all the above.

I followed the outpatient protocol on page 2 of the FLCCC document which prescribes higher dose IVM. I’m 75kg so a tube of pony paste would give me 4 doses.

The gargle and nasal spray was really good.

I felt improvement immediately after the IVM and was pretty recovered after 4 days. Cough persisted for a week after that.

Best wishes to you and your husband. Keep us posted.

Thanks Mike, for providing some explanation of the use of budesonide.  I had wondered.

One of the studies posted/discussed here showed that people who do the gargle and nasal spray (nasal irrigation such as neti pot even better) cleared the virus much more quickly than people who did not. Make sure you use the proper ingredients (see FLCCC guide).

Also, other over the counter measures for covid include melatonin, aspirin, pepsid, and antihistamine such as claritin/zyrtec.

Hope you feel better soon.

    liposomal Vitamin C

I suggest you get some liposomal Vitamin C.  The liposomes surround the Vitamin C which helps absorption into the bloodstream and prevents the possibility of diarrhea if you take a strong dose at one time.  When I feel a cold coming on, I will take Vitamin C at a dose of 4 t0 8 grams/day in divided doses for several days.  Dividing the dose is important because your kidneys clear out Vitamin C from your blood in about an hour and a half.

https://www.amazon.ca/Mercola-Liposomal-Vitamin-180-CAPSULES/dp/B00JFF48I6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2AYGYMMAZDDO4&keywords=dr+mercola+liposomal+vitamin+c&qid=1637528619&sprefix=mercola+lipo%2Caps%2C185&sr=8-5

My bottle of Dr. Mercola Vitamin C says it uses sunflower lecithin, which is the source for the liposomes.

If you have either tablets or capsules of powdered Vitamin C, you can take both liposomal Vitamin C and the powdered Vitamin C at the same time.  Only about 50% of powdered/capsule Vitamin C is absorbed into the bloodstream, while up to 90% of the liposomal Vitamin C is absorbed.
