FOUNDER OF WEBSITE has been conspiciously silenced..
The otherwise extremely talkative Chris Martenson, doing just that for well more than a decade, a has fallen completely silent, which goes completely against his own past nature. I for one have observed his courage and his undaunted truthfulness for well more than a decade. I can only assume that his family and loved ones have possibly been threatened by the same evil forces that are now aligned in unison against almost all of humanity.
I personally pray for Chris, for his family and for all of you good P.P. souls. You’re all so truly amazing.
WE MUST STAND TOGETHER AGAINST EVIL!!!!
I agree it’s frustratingly long, but Chris will return. The lawyers continue to consult, working out the details and negotiating the terms that allow Chris the full control he wants and needs in order to take PP forward, free to address the new issues we face in this new era of challenges.
He hasn’t been silenced. He is being silent to facilitate the completion of the negotiation process.
Meanwhile he is scheduled to host, for the Northeast PP group, a mid-June presentation at Honey Badger Farm on solar energy, led by Mots – who will be visiting the US from his home in Japan. (Mots will also be presenting in Virginia on each end of the Polyface workshop. Contact him if you’d like to participate.)
We can be confident he is also engaged in research. And we know – because he has posted job opportunities here – that he is building the infrastructure he will need to support his future work. I expect he’ll hit the ground running when the time is right.
He explained whats happening in detail…though many believe there is more happening behind the scenes.
VTGothic has it exactly right. There continue to be negotiations in the background.
While those are being conducted I am busy rebuilding the core team that will help me run the site through the next few months, and possibly/hopefully even more hires after a ‘stabilization’ period.
I can provide this hint; the candidates who have applied to the posted positions have been off the charts amazing people making the selection decisions agonizing – I wish I could hire them all!
I am going to invest in Peak Prosperity by investing in people. I have really high hopes for what we’re going to be able to achieve.
That said, another foreshadowing, I am dismayed by the censorship on display in the western world and its many gleeful supporters who seem not to have read any history while also lacking any appreciation for the principle of cause-and-effect.
Sure, NYC, go ahead and jack up taxes on your wealthiest when they can simply up and move to a less abusive state. As always, we should remember to break out our tiny sympathy violins next year when the various state and local governments face a confusing (to them) shortfall in tax receipts. Totally unpredictable! /s
Or maybe shame/silence any and all conversations about topics that are deemed ‘inappropriate’ under the magical fantasy that somehow those ideas will vanish (instead of going subterranean where they will exert far more power from the shadows).
Truly weird times.
All of which is to say that I/we are going to have to be far more circumspect in how we go about talking about things. Some conversations will have to move behind various walls to allow them to occur without attracting those many gleeful enforcers of repression who have been handed a cultural license to disrupt and censor.
But make no mistake, I am not backing down here. The fight is for our very future, our dignity and integrity, and quite possibly the survival of humans on this planet.
First, however, I have to get our ducks in a row…(whatever that means, I should look up where that saying comes from…)
Huh. Turns out nobody really knows:
“To have one’s ducks in a row” implies preparedness and efficiency. An attorney may “have his or her ducks in a row” by deliberately putting together evidence and witnesses for a case. A chef may “have his or her ducks in a row” by carefully preparing ingredients and adding them to a dish in a specific order.
Until recently, it was thought that the phrase originated in the 1970s, notably in Stephen King’s novel The Stand, published in 1978, where King used the phrase, “line up one’s ducks.” It was later found in a 1932 edition of the Washington Post. And the earliest known reference is from a November 1889 issue of The Plaindealer.
For some, the phrase conjures an image of bowling pins neatly aligned at the end of a bowling alley. In the early 1900s, bowling pins were much shorter and fatter than the ones we know today and were often called “ducks” due to their water-fowl like appearance. These were also the days before automatic resetting machines so the pins had to be manually reset in neat rows between rounds. Having “one’s ducks in a row” meant the bowler was ready to send the next ball down the alley.
Others speculate that the idiom comes from pool. When a ball is lined up directly in front of a pocket it is called a “duck” or “sitting duck.” A pool player with “one’s ducks in a row” has all easy shots with balls lined up in front of the pockets, and hopefully also an easy victory.
The phrase could also come from the popular carnival game in which players shoot at metal ducks for a prize. Likewise, in the sport of hunting duck, “having one’s ducks in a row” means the skilled huntsman was able to take out multiple birds with one shot.
Thank you, VT Gothic, for your wise counsel. And thank you, Chris, for your input this morning, so good to hear from you! Super glad to hear you’ve received high quality job applicants for the team building. It takes a village. Let’s get our seeds and starter plants in the ground

I was going to suggest allowing paid subscribers to create threads behind the paywall.
I’m a big fan of what Robert Anton Wilson called “reality tunnels”, or what Einstein deemed “thought experiments”. It’s a useful tool that sometimes takes you to the fringes and that can lead to character assassination, etc.
The UFO topic specifically still carries stigma.
I think Chris is touching on something important here as usual…
The idea of building a wall behind which things can be discussed feels unethical to those of us who have a free society bent. Moreover it gives the proceedings a feel of “Subscribe to my newsletter for only $XXX to learn the terrifying future to be carried out in concrete steps on these dates”.
But what if your society is not free? What if by building a wall you are only hiding things from people who wouldn’t care to hear them even if they stumbled on them? What if you are the sort who can hold an idea in your head for a moment, consider it and then accept or reject it as you see fit? Well then you would want your “not free society” to f*ck off and leave you alone while you talk about matters with your friends.
At this point, I hope Chris does build a pretty good wall. I sense that there are legal distinctions to be made when it comes to censoring information that people are paying to hear vs censoring publicly available material (the later is done “for the good of the public” but the former seems to be analogous to being an accredited investor) . I also hope Chris stays “out there” delivering ideas to the public because his way of looking at things is what attracted me here.
But what if your society is not free?
I have come to the conclusion we are not free.
It used to be that this was a free society. But it is not any longer.
There are things that I will not write publicly for fear of ramifications. On more than one occasion I have drafted long posts – only to pause over the submit button and then finally decide not to post. Somethings are not safe to say.
Last night I listened to Pierre Kory’s latest podcast. Watching the podcast one can see that he now realizes the reality of the world he is living in. The scientific establishment is broken. The media is broken. People are dying so that others can profit. You can see his frustration. You can almost feel it – that he wants to say even more, but he holds back.
I personally think that it is important to realize that we are not free. We have to deal with this world as it is – not what we are told it is.
