For those of you in need of a little comfort & inspiration!
Sungha Jung is a 12 y/o fingerstyle guitarist from South Korea.

"Oh my." (Actually what I said can’t be written here or it will get moderated)
That was simply stunning – when I listened with my eyes shut I heard chord voicings and phrasings from a guitar player like David Gilmour – IMO one of the most melodic guitarists out there. This young lad has a gift – each and every note had a life of its own. The simultaneous harmonics AND tapping riff that starts at 4:17?? Stanley Jordan meets Pastorius????
That made my day – and it just got started – thanks.

That was absolutely awesome!
Talk about no off on the genius position! My wife and I watched the documentary Chasing Sound the other night, from 2007 when Les was only 90! Inspired me no end!
Here’s one of my favorite guitarists, Gary moore.
Not a bad singer either:
It’s goose bump time……

No worries…Youtube videos are actually served up by Youtube even though you see them here. Their b/w, not ours. Thanks for thinking of the site!
Just to add to Chris’ comment… yes it is not our bandwidth, but having 50 videos embedded on a single web page will definitely slow down your viewing experience. Each one of them has embed script that needs to load. While it doesn’t cause any problems on our end, you may be waiting a bit until the entire page is up!
Also just in case anyone wants to post a video, the details of how to do so are right below the text box where you type your comments. Do not use the code that YouTube gives to embed videos. Instead just use our special "video tag." It is the word "video" followed by a colon and the URL (web address) of the YouTube page, and then the entire thing surrounded by brackets. Just like this:
Ha ha, that was excellent, Paul. Love Pink Floyd and Joe video is talented as well.
I have never heard anyone play guitar like that kid above.
I thought he was playing with a capo at first. Then he slid past it. It appears that it is a capo only for the top 3 or 4 strings which means, I guess, that he is playing in two keys at one time? Amazing.
Loved seeing the Iz video. I saw him perform several times when I lived in Hawaii. He died a few years after I moved back to the mainland, so its great to see him, again.
