Passionate differences can obscure fundamental areas of consensus.  Hastings and Greer agree on some basic issues:  that UFOs are real, and that they are here.  They also agree that the observed capacity to accelerate rapidly (and other things) implies that they use novel technologies.  Both include a wealth of observational data though their theories of what it all means are different.

I certainly do not know how history will ultimately judge the accuracy of the various views/guesses/theories/suppositions/imaginings and personalities.  But it seems clear to me that something is going on.  Curiosity allows information gathering to continue.

Sandpuppy, Robert Hastings is a friend of mine. He relies on the credible testimony of pilots and men like lieutenant Robert Salas, former officer in charge of one of the minute man missile silos in Montana. Like my husband, he doesn't engage in rampant speculation, nor does he assemble paying audiences for laser light shows supposedly 'vectoring in craft'. Craft that never show. Greer then tells his audiences that they can't see the craft, because  they aren't highly evolved, spiritually, like him.  And he, of course, CAN see the craft. The consolation prize is they might be able to somehow 'feel the presence' of the beings. What complete horse****!

To be fair to credible, qualified and honest investigators, please don't put them in the same camp with Greer. It is understandable, as you seem to be new to this field of endeavor. But I'm sure Robert would be very insulted as would my husband.

'imaginings' that Greer imparts to others, that quite coincidentally, seem to make him a lot of easy money are not valued or appreciated in a field that is ready full of observational mine fields.

Caution and more caution is required here.

    Jeez!

I know there are always two sides to any story, but wow. Isn't it sad that once again there are differing opinions on someone's truthfullness?

Dr. Greer has documented interviews with many credible witnesses. Is it the spiritual part that puts people off? Is the negative stuff about Dr. Greer genuine or is it an effort to discredit him by those with their own agenda?

Frankly, Agitating Prop I'm not sure what to make of what you are saying about him. I wonder why you aren't willing to share you husband's identity here. Why the secrecy? Why can't you identify him and his book so those here can make up their own minds about his work? I hope you will change your mind.

In the meantime, I will check out the criticism. Mostly, though I am moved to turn inward and connect with my own knowing rather than relying so much on external sources of any kind. Perhaps that's the best method of determining the truth. Isn't that what we're all seeking?

    I have to say…

I didn't study Greer enough before this to understand some of the shinanigans that were being played.  Got me!

While I enjoyed the Sirius film, it left some to be desired.  I appreciate Greer for being able to bring attention to this subject.  But in the long run, his lack of strong evidence, and aggressive speculation, will lead to a backtrack in the overall Disclosure process IMO.

Thanks AP for bringing more info to my attention.

By the 'spiritual part', do you mean Greer's interpretation of the et's as interdimensional beings that you can't see but simply 'feel'? Isn't it convenient that after years of trying to vector craft in and being chronically disappointed that ET's didn't appear, he would alter his interpretation of events?  He used to have protocols his ambassadors for humanity had to sign in the sure event they entered actual  space ships and took off with alien beings.

His new improved mother ships are  invisible eliptical objects hurled through interdimensional space. They have nothing to do with the soul, the spirit or anything else. They're an explanatory football that he has thrown in a hail Mary pass to keep his game on.

I have sent you a pm with regards my husband and explained that I don't want to be in a position where anyone could accuse me of pushing his books on a public forum. I also want to retain my anonymity.

If anybody wants to inquire about his name, his books, etc…they can send me a pm.

As far as turning inward to seek knowing, I do the same, but it is a subjective experience and it has to incorporate or stand up to the rigors of objective verification.

Nobody has all the answers, and I appreciate you bringing this subject to the forums.  It's brought some excellent info about the subject forward, while also enlightening us on some of the negatives of some of the players involved.

As with anything, we must listen to everything, parcel the info, find evidence where we can, and make our own decisions from there.  As Chris Duane is fond of saying "Listen to All – Follow None".  I think that's how I've been living my life for the past 7-8 years now, and it's helped to take any confusion out of the info that I come across.

I'd love to see more info come forth.  This is a fascinating subject!

    Seeking a new narrative

Thanks to everyone for participating in this thread.  I learned quite a bit.  I will certainly keep my eyes open for additional confirmation on the issue of Steven Greer's personality structure.  If he is (like several people have reported) excessively narcissistic then all he says is questionable, indeed.  He does seem to ooze confidence.  And I do know that the role of being "spiritually advanced" is a tremendous magnet for narcissistic personalities.

I'm a bit sorry to see this thread go into this particular cul-de-sac, however.  The reality of 2) UFO's, 2) the cover-up process, and 3) a secret group with a disproportionate control of resources all seems strong to me.  On the subject of "free energy" devices–I have not seen any confirmation, just rumors.  But I do know that relativity theory says that all of space-time exists within a field of immense energy.  So a free energy device is not at all impossible, even if one has never been demonstrated.

I suppose that I am searching for a new narative on what human life here means.  Especially as we seem to be plunging into crises in population, pollution, economic health and political freedom all at the same time.  The prospects of seeing my children living through a die-off phase in human population isn't much to look forward too.

Discovering that we are on the cusp of joining a galactic neighborhood would be much more fun.

    A book for you

Hi Sand_Puppy,

I just finished reading a book you might be interested in. It has nothing to do with UFO's but near death experiences. Usually I'm not drawn to this type of reading but this was written by a neurosurgeon who wriote about his own personal experience. It's titled Prook of Heaven by Eben Alexander, M.D.

Working with the geriatric population as a therapist, I often have the opportunity to listen to people's thoughts about their lives as they look back and ahead to their ultimate demise. I've heard some amazing stories over the years and have had ample opportunity to think about what this life means and what are the possibilities once our body declines and ultimately dies. We are all energy and that energy that is our soul (for those who believe in that) goes somewhere.

    One Fascinating Video!

Wow Cherihuka, that is one extremely facinating video!  Some amazing interactions descibed and while some could have been faked, when I consider the entire body of the presentation I am inclined to believe what Romanek claims is true, especially when one considers that in many cases there are multiple witnesses and even video that made it to the 6 o'clock news.   I hope those formula's he wrote in his sleep get into the right hands to help us expand our understanding of the universe, and how to traverse it!

Also, thank-you so much for being brave enoungh to share your personal experience of telepathic contact.  Your experience has been shared by others who have had telepathic contact. One member of my family described a feeling of terror when an ET intruded into his mind. I think he'd been watching at TV program and afterward was just laying in bed thinking about "Greys" when it happened. He is a highly placed executive in a massive multi-national corporation and is very much a nuts and bolts kind of guy. He does not us alcohol or drugs of any kind.  He was so freaked out that he mentally told the ETs to disengage contact because he could not handle it. The telepathic link was immediately broken, but he indicated to me that he did not sleep one wink that night.

I listened recently to an interview of an abductee named Jim Sparks. ( http://jim-sparks.com ) He claims to have had fully conscious contact experiences over the past 20+ years.  One of the things he mentioned is that even being in the presence of a "grey" at a distance of 30 feet is extremely disquieting, and being close to one can cause a full blown panic attack.  He said it is something about the "energy" they give off feeling very freaky and disquieting.  Worse yet, when they establish a telepathic link with your brain it is as if they know all your intimate secrets while at the same time you know nothing about them, or their intentions.  You could say one feels psychologically "naked" and completely vulnerable.  It is certainly understandable that they could be perceived as "demons", especially given your experiences growing up in a strong Baptist family.  I really love your turn of phrase when you say that what you have experienced has "intruded on my beliefs".  This may be yet another reason for secrecy and the glacial pace of the disclosure process. A high percentage of Earth's population have their traditions, and dare I say, their identity, tied up in their religious beliefs.  Indeed, these beliefs make up a large part of who we are as human beings.  For many of us, our religious beliefs are a source of great inner strength, and give us a sense of purpose, and a source of moral guideance.  If those beliefs where suddenly shattered who knows what level of mental illness and caos would result.

I, for one, believe that the disclosure process has already started and it has taken several different forms. It is what I call "soft disclosure".  On television we now see serious quasi-documentary programs like the History Channel's "Ancient Aliens" series. I think perhaps this is designed to get the masses thinking that perhaps, maybe, just maybe, thousands of years ago aliens did visit this planet.  In a gentle way, it gets us used to the idea that aliens exist.  Unsealed Alien/UFO Files is another program of similar genre. This show explores information in files that where released to the public under the "Freedom of Information Act".  You will notice that though sometimes creepy, scary and spooky, nobody gets killed or seriously injured in any of these episodes.  The show Chasing UFOs is yet another example of programming that is clearly not intended to be perceived as fiction.  Instead it is designed to open our minds to other possibilities of life beyond Earth.

From the ETs perspective not everything is done in secret either. There have been some events where there were multiple witnesses and some cases the number of witnesses runs into the hundreds and even the thousands.  The disk that appeared over Chicago's O'Hare airport in 2006 comes to mind.  Several massive craft that appeared over and around Stevensville in 2012 are another example.  It is estimated that over 10,000 people witnessed "The Phoenix Lights" back in March of 1997. In 2010 and 2011 there where several occaisions where airports in China were shut down because UFOs had intruded into the airspace and there was danger of collision with man made aircraft.

Crop circles that appear annually, especially those in the southern UK, are another example of a very public form of disclosure on the part of the ETs that it is not easy for the authorities to cover up. Yes, some of these are indeed made by humans, and some man made ones do, in fact, look pretty impressive from the air, but once on the ground it is easy to tell them apart from the ones made by ETs.  The human made ones are made with ropes and planks and the complex ones take hours or even days to make.  There are, of course, tracks everywhere and often the stalks of the plans are often snapped right off.  The human made ones contain no leftover EMF radiation signatures.  The real ones, and there are a few films out there of the process happening, are formed in 20 to 30 seconds by what appears to the human eye as moving balls of light accompanied by a very high pitched "trilling" sound.  Some form of energy similar to microwaves is also used as the soil inside a "real" crop circle is usually bone dry while the soil immediately outside the formations is nice and moist.  Stems of the plants in real crop circles are neatly bent at about a 90 degree angle and often exhibit signs of scorching.  Most stems also show multiple tiny holes blown right through the stems in the area where bend occurs.  It is postulated that theses holes are caused by superheated stream created within the plant finding its own way to escape.  Crop circles visited within minutes of their creation have also  been seen to be "steaming" which could explain why the soil inside the circles is so desicated.

Your mention of demons brings to mind some documents that I found on Earthfiles.com that were proported to be leaked Top Secret/MAJIC military documents.  A part of these documents described a contact between a captured "Grey" and a military officer. I don't recall the exact date but it was either late 1940's or early 1950's.  The interviewing officer mentally asked the ET if it was a demon, and the ET was actually quite offended by the question.  Based on the ETs response apparently demon's do exist, but they are primitive and unintelligent life forms that hang out in the lower dimensions and are spiritually retarded.  Based on this information if you want to tick of a Grey, all you need to do is call it a demon. 😉

In my own mind I don't think the ETs are demons, but I do think that many of them are trans-dimensional and may even have the ability to time travel.  I suspect that the way they travel such great distances in a short period of time is by actually popping into another dimension where space-time as we know it does not exist and a whole different set of physics laws govern what can and can't be done. My understanding is that some versions of "string theory" postulate through advanced mathematics that there may be as many as 21 different dimensions.  It is likely that their technology is millions, if not billions, of years ahead of our own.  It is sufficiently advanced that to us it appears to be magic.

There's many more thoughts I'd like to share but I'm way past my bedtime so I must sign off for now.  Many thanks to all who have contributed to this thread!!  Let's spread the knowledge and keep this thing running!

Blessings to all,

jzakariasen

    More Feedback for NN

Hi NN,

I followed the link to the review that convinced you that watching Sirius is not worth your time.  I hope you don't make your decision based on the comments put forward on that link alone.  My read on GhostTheory.com is that it is a debunking sight.  What I find really off-putting about it is the way they use partial quotes to convey dis-information and wrong impressions.  They make sweeping statements like the UFO clips being "100% debunked".  Really?! By who? When? Where? How?    They quote the part of the movie where geneticist Dr. Garry Nolan says the creature is more human than chimp, but what they do not say is that later in the movie Dr. Nolan reveals that 10% of the DNA was not recognized by the software and so the results were put in a separate file which will require further analysis to determine why it was not recognised, and what its true orgin was.  No doubt some of the DNA was not recognized because it may have been damaged, but likely not a high percentage because the input data was based on testing done at three separate labs. Also missing from the review were Dr. Nolan's comments about the DNA tested not demonstrating any of the known human mutations that could possibly explain a 6 year old that is only 6 inches tall.

What must be appreciated is that even if the "nucleous sourced DNA" is a 95% match to human DNA you could still have an entity that is clearly very different from what we call human, and may well have had a father that was ET in orgin.

This article from New Scientist magazine http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn2352-just-25-of-dna-turns-mice-into-men.html explains that 97.5% of the working DNA of mice and humans is identical yet a mouse could hardly be called human.  Chimpanzees aren't human either, yet about 98.5% of our working DNA is the same.  My instincts suggest to me that a creature that was 6 years old when it died, yet was only 6" tall, does not fall within the known goalposts of what we would call "human".

Dr. Greer does make some bold assertions in the movie about all the ETs being friendly and spiritually advanced that are not well supported, and I have long been of the view this this was not necessarily the case.  That said, it is important not to "throw out the baby with the bathwater".  There is a lot of interesting content in this film that will be of special interest to those who are new to the subject material.  Namely,…

1) some pretty compelling evidence that we are not alone,

2) information supporting the fact that we have been kept in the dark deliberately and at least some compartments within the government know a lot more than they are letting on.

3) covert projects within the USA have been successful at reverse engineering at least some ET craft including energy sources that power them, and their novel propulsion/inertia cancelling technology.

4) compartments within the US military already have craft capable of interstellar travel over relatively short periods of time.  This implies either super-luminal speeds or some sort of technology that can warp the fabric of space-time.

5) energy technologies that could make burning fossil fuels a thing of the past have been shelved in favor continuing to profit from selling fossil fuels.

If any of the above is news to you, and/or you want the true story about the genetic research completed to date on "Ata", then I would suggest you would find it worth while to take a couple of hours to watch the movie.  There definitely worse ways to spend that time.  I am ashamed to admit it but I even watched two hours of Duck Dynasty this week.  Now that really was a waste of time!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

    more convinced

I've been reading more and getting updates from here.

I watched something today – the recent UFO Disclosure congressional hearing… this one features a former (23 years, 3 administrations) Canadian Sec. of Defense… WOW, you just cannot beat that kind of credibility -and HE is convinced – wrote a book called "Light at the End of the Tunnel" which he says he listed 4 different entities, or ET races, but now knows of 7 and has heard of up to 20….then he speaks about shadow gov't, and again just makes your head spin, because you don't want it to be real (the kind of conspiracies that Alex Jones might talk about), but makes sense in the context of big oil and other powers that be not wanting the truth out for reasons of greed related to alternative clean energies. (I can't help but wonder if Chris would think the energy conspiracy part plausible).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIeAObh_tME

It sure is fascinating stuff though it still creeps me out that it might be true.

It would be EASIER if it were demons….
