Covid-19 created in lab?
Big news if true. In the US hazardous biolabs are kept in isolated areas, except at universities.
There is a graduate student in Biology (Master’s candidate, I believe) with a background in finance (PhD) who worked with genetic studies at one point who thinks that the likelihood of the specific mutations at those particular locations are beyond astronomical.
If you are interested in his descriptions, his name is Paul Cottrell and he has posted quite a bit since this started. I haven’t watched all of them, but I get the impression that he’s done the math and doesn’t think that preserving his academic reputation is going to help him much once this takes hold.

The case fatality rate was 15% up to January 10th then fell to less than 1% by February 1st.
Something else was going on pre-January 10th.
Was there a 2nd, deadlier but less contagious virus that has died off and was covered up by the less deadly but more contagious coronavirus being released at the same time or shortly afterwards?
