One would have thought that with an asset trading at $9,200 it would receive some coverage here at PP in the Market Report. Not so. Well that might change soon if Coinbase gets a listing on an exchange. It looks like it will not be an IPO. Should be interesting.

Hi Mohammed,

Crypto/distributed ledger is not well understood and considered hyped. I have a total different opinion: distributed technology is “anarchistic” in its true sense, we can cut out the middleman, and transact peer2peer: who needs banks to transfer money? Apart from that, some projects are truly innovative with real usecases, they are so cheap that for a relatively small investment: you either loose this minor investment, or you gain tremendously (antifragility a la Taleb).
I have a small amount invested, which increased 5 fold in 2 years, but the real kicker: i can convert euro in dollar within seconds for a nearly negligible fee😂. So, if SHTF in Euroland, which imo has a nonzero probability, i have the extra benefit of being able to store some value in a different valuta.

Grts, Dave

We are on the exact same page. I got into crypto when btc was $10.  I cannot believe more people do not see the potential in having “our own currency” I pay my plumber with crypto. Cyprus and Greece are real world examples of how crypto can protect you from the banks. I think a wave might be forming. New accounts are rising.

All the best. Thanks
