Fantastic news!

Phew…. now, I can go back to being an infrequent poster and stop all this rabble-rousing.

Chris….Dude….you da MaN!     I am sure the last few weeks have been stressful X 10, along with everything else going on too. Be sure to double up on Vits and you might want to try some Schisandra or Ashwagandha which helps me alot to deal with stress.

Just to add to discussion, I think Chris work on Crash Course and his YouTube videos are worth paying. I personally have bought his book and also I am very thankful for his other resources which are avaliable here.

I posted a while back that I figured that Chris would speak up once the time was right.  Sure enough, he did.  So I feel vindicated.  We just had to be patient, that’s all. But enough horn-tooting.

My point here is, I know we were a lot of us concerned for Chris, his well-being, and for his personal safety.  I was, too.  But all I (or any of us) could do was to read, post occasionally when we had something to say.  And worry.  I know, I did.

Thanks to Adam, the site hasn’t fallen apart during this long hiatus by Chris.  I know that Chris had his reasons, and if anything my respect for him has increased during this time.  I am imagining just how hard it must have been for Chris to read all the things being said (including a lot of wild speculations, which I had too, but kept to myself), but … really.  Chris is a Survivor.  We all ought to know that by now.  It’s who he is.

It’s not just all about Chris, anyway. It’s about this Community, too,  and the members that are always looking for insights, information, knowledge, rational discussion, and (let’s face it) just a bit of Sanity in a mad world.  Thankfully, none of that went away while Chris was absent.  I greatly value things I read from other folks who comment on this site.

I’m (Like, 100 factorial to the 100th power !!) GLAD that Chris will be coming back to share what he knows and what he has found out, along with his inimitable presentation style.

But don’t let’s any of us forget — it’s a Community.
We need to take care of our own.
We need to carry on, no matter what.
It’s just the right thing to do.
Isn’t that the meaning of Resilience, after all?

So, Chris, from the bottom of my heart,
I’m glad you’re OK. I figured out you would be.
I’m delighted you’re seeing great things for the future.  So am I.
I’m grateful the Tribe stuck together while things were hard.

Welcome back, Chris.  Bring it ON, bro.  Bring it on.

— Chuck

“Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got ’till its gone…..”

The threat of losing Chris and connections made on this site has brought into sharp relief just what it has meant to many people. So glad no one will be “paving ( our) paradise to put up a parking lot”. Looking forward to seeing Chris back on the site….and you as well, Evie.

It doesn’t matter WHY Chris has been silenced it only matters THAT Chris has been silenced. I think we all know that capitalist America is doomed but most of us at least wanted a blow by blow from a reliable source as it died – now we have been deprived of that. In the mass dyoff in the next year caused by the vaccines I suppose it will all seem rather trivial!! Be well Chris – come to Canada where we grow our own potatoes. You are always welcome.
