Chris Martenson’s Content Strike enters week 6
I know that you don’t know me. I don’t post much, but I have been here for a long time. I was following Chris Martenson when the site was called chrismartenson.com. I remember the original version of the Crash Course. I transformed my life following the principles laid out here. I called my last home a Peak Prosperity homestead. I support Chris Martenson. He’s not perfect, but he has helped me in so many ways. His work in 2020 is worth our support all by itself.
The purpose of a strike is to inflict enough financial harm on a business to make it change. Set aside your feelings about unions or strikes. If you are in support of the people that are striking, then you don’t cross the picket lines. You don’t give the business your money. As soon as the strike ends, then you can come back and support the business.
I have to trust that the issue that is leading Chris to use the nuclear option, must be serious. He has deemed this issue to be of the most importance. Think about all of the many topics that we need him to weigh-in on. Some of these topics are about human health. He has deemed this dispute between him and investors to be SO important that he has to go on a content strike.
I owe it to him to support him now, when he is in need. I am supporting him by not crossing the picket lines, by not continuing my financial support of Peak Prosperity. Please join me. Put pressure on the investors. End this strike. Stop all financial support to Peak Prosperity.

I have always counseled my kids to “vote with their wallet”, it seems to hold more value than any other vote we have.
All of us wish to support Adam and Chris in this untenable situation, I have indeed canceled my subscription and voted with my wallet.
I truly hope it is the “investors” I am voting against.
I was thinking about registering for PP but I was concerned that it might be like the “kiss of death”.
Then I heard more about the schism that may be related to Chris not posting for a while.
We actually don’t know if Chris is “on strike” of his own volition. The situation seems complicated. It might not be Chris’ decision.
“I truly hope it is the investors I am voting against” (robshepler)
That’s the crux of the dilemma. I don’t actually know who I’m voting for if I stay, or against if I go. If any people here know something more about Chris’ actual situation, something that would help with this decision about subscriptions and other actions that might help/not help regain Chris’ unfettered voice on his website, please dish.
If I leave, the subscription money will stay unspent, ready to support Chris when he emerges free to speak.
Chris may have just finally gotten to the point where he can no longer stomach the obscene contradiction of “the parasitic financial destruction of the planet and how to get rich off it” theme of this site.
I agree, there do seem to be competing themes here. Why do you think that is?
Post-COVID, I find myself less interested in writing about the markets every single blessed day of the week, and more about other things that I think are more important.
I’m speaking more like a member here, but – maybe if Chris ever returns, we can convince him to alter direction a bit? Assuming he can make a deal with “The Investors”.
I mean, site has to make money – someone’s gotta pay for all those bits – but maybe he can find a different way to do it.
Maybe the “investors” are the US drug companies? I’m assuming that Chris was fired.
Maybe VT gothic could open a bitcoin wallet for him and someone local could personally deliver the keys to Chris. We could send bitcoin to Chris then
Guys, I was wondering where he was for the last 3 weeks. I thought it was possibly a vacation. Is he really on strike?
