Canada stops all public sale of human Ivermectin nationwide
An Ontario pharmacist I checked with today (after my small-town physician assured me that IVM is available OTC as a worm medication) told me that not only is my physician wrong, and that IVM is indeed prescription only in Canada, but she also told me that NAPRA (The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) is an alliance of the provincial and territorial pharmacy regulatory authorities) has withdrawn human IVM pills (Stromectol) from **all public sale nation wide even with a prescription**. She also told me that NAPRA has just done the same for the anti-gout medication that was just shown to work as an anti-covid measure. She said that was done “overnight”. My response was “what kind of mafia state is this?” (I think that counts as being radical by Canadian standards). She said (without sounding convinced) that they are doing it so it can be used in the hospitals. I said “well, if that’s the case, I applaud it but for me it’s back to India or the horse paste then.” Just a heads up to my fellow Canadians here!
“She said (without sounding convinced) that they are doing it so it can be used in the hospitals.”
Recall in the early weeks of the pandemic there was lots of press about the need to manufacturer more ventilators. Any talk about doing that with Ivermectin? My guess is, no. Instead we hear ad nauseam about the vaccines with unknown long term risk/benefit.
Data suggests Ivermectin is far more effective when started EARLY.
I can understand not giving it to healthy, young and middle aged folks since their risk of a bad outcome is very low. The remainder of the I-Mask+ protocol seems appropriate for them. It seems criminal to deprive high-risk folks such a potent medication at the phase of C19 when it is most effective.

Dont know if this will work in Canada, but I used text2md.com. US based doctors who will take your medical history, then prescribe Ivermectin if appropriate. I did 3 month prophylaxis. They charged me $55 for the consult, then shipped the scrip to my pharmacy. Got it filled no questions.

If that’s true, that ivermectin is being saved for hospital use, it indicates those on the frontlines here are truly paying attention. Thank God for that. I can’t see a pharmacist making things up. It wouldn’t seem to serve a purpose.
Thanks for the info, Canuck21. It’s very hopeful.

My reaction was that it is Big Brother in a knee-jerk reaction to stop the public hoarding, but perhaps I am more cynical. I guess what bugs me is that they forget that “the public” is actually real individual people and that they assume they Know Best. And that the medical/pharmacist corps here in Canada seems to be remarkably accepting of whatever Truth comes down to them from on high.
They aren’t saving it for hospital use. They are just blocking the public from getting anything that works.
Is that a rude enough awakening?
What else do you need to realize that this is not and never was about public health?
And yes. Conspiracies do exist. Only totally naive people believe otherwise.

Wow, Canuck21. That sounds like the ‘enemy action’ thing. It’s hard at that point to not think they’re trying genocide.
Somehow the madness has to stop.
Any recommendations on good suppliers in India?
And all you take is one tablet per month…

LOL, the real lesson here is:
“Did you get your Ivermectin when you had the chance or are you now on this ride hoping against hope that help is on its way soon?”
I mean sure its possible that after brutally mishandling every aspect of this pandemic the govt has found Jesus and is about to efficiently enact good public policy based on sound reasoning…
I’m sorry I cant stop laughing as I type that….
I kind of hope OP just met someone who was telling tall tales and this helps someone who has been sitting on their thumbs to get good and scared and take matters into their own hands. There are only so many warnings before things actually start happening.
