    Building Community Ideas

This thread is intended for us to share with one another ideas and actions we have taken to build community in our local area.  There are probably hundreds of ways to approach this.  Let’s share our ideas.  … Don

    Re: Building Community Ideas

I went to my local city/county web site and found that they were looking for volunteers.  Imagine that!  So I volunteered.  Now I’m a member of the Cultural Council.  I’m in.  Now I can begin building relationships with people active in my community including city council members.  It was easy.  It will take some of my time, but I bet it will be well worth it.

food for thought … Don

FOOD!

I belong to a local Knights of Columbus council.  We have regular semi-weekly meetings as well as other events ( dinners, etc.)  I’m wondering if I could just give out the disks!

Boy, we could really use some pamflets!
