Wow – Simple Pump w/ solar seems to be the way to go. Very impressive engineering. Bookmarked, and we will get a quote! Thanks, LG.

I am new to this forum and I am interested in solar water pumps. Thanks for sharing that link with us, it has some very interesting information about solar water pumps and how they work. Love some of the pictures too, I had never seen a set up like that, with the solar panels on top of the pyramid looking stand. Great idea!

I have been looking for this service and I found this one http://www.findwaterfirst.com/ . Southwest Ground Surveyors use the latest generation of electro-seismic geophysical technology, that will help you find well waterbefore you go to the expense of drilling a well blindly. WaterHas anyone have looked into this before? If you have any other options you know are worth the time to check out, please post them here. Thanks!
Lots of water pump available in market now you can choose any from them.Last year I installed a water pump in my farm house which I purchased from donex engineering. This company focuses in to give top quality product to their clients.
PDG self-balance multistage boiler feed pump is mainly used for conveying water free of solid particles with the temperature of -20 degrees centigrade – 210 degrees centigrade or physical and chemical properties similar to liquid water.
PDG self-balance multistage boiler feed pump has been innovated on the basis of the traditional forms, abandoning the axial force balancing structure of the multistage centrifugal. Since having no balancing device, there exists none disk friction losses nor balancing return losses, the pump efficiency has been increased by 5-14% than the same category multistage pumps.
Best for very deep well submersible pump
Different pumps for different situations. We produce an air operated submersible that won't corrode, seize or burn out. It handles low flows, salt, iron and solids such as sand in the water. Being air operated, the compressor can be operated by any power source and should one fail, just plug in another one without having to mess around with the pump. Details at http://www.brumbypumps.com
Thanks cmartenson for sharing the link.
Our well pump sits at 480 feet and is powered by 6 -80 watt panels, it is a Grundfos and pumps about 600 gallons a day. We have two 5000 gallon tanks that it feeds, one is strictly backup. I would love to find a hand pump that would slip in beside the solar pump….. The original Grundfos pump failed at year 7.
We also have about 13,000 gallons of rainwater storage that we use for irrigating our high tunnel greenhouses and seed starts. We have high pH groundwater and we find that our seed starts do much better with rainwater, the difference is amazing. The rainwater system is set up to auto siphon should our little priming pump fail.
Our Market Garden is drip irrigated from a pick up tube in our ditch, there are a settling chamber and 3000 gallons of storage in line, it is all gravity fed.
I would love to find some redundancy on our well pump, please post what you find!
