Autoimmune flare up or new case following vaccine

I know there is not a lot of data on adverse events following vaccines but I am trying to help a friend. She just recently got diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and I suspect that it is an vax side effect. I want to be able to tell her that another vaccine shot might make it worse but I need to show her that others have had similar disease onset.

Also, is it possible that ivermectin will help her if it is a reaction to the jab?

She is also going for a thyroid cancer test. A lot all at once.

Thank you so much. I wonder if there is a support forum site? Health unlocked might have a ankylosing spondylitis group.

    ankylosing spondylitis support groups

Do a web search for “ankylosing spondylitis support group” and you will find there are support groups.  https://www.healthline.com/health/ankylosing-spondylitis/resources-for-support  was one search result I found.  https://spondylitis.org/resources-support/support-resources/support-groups/ is another.  I know absoluting nothing about the condition.

I can only share my experience having Multiple Sclerosis. I remain unjabbed but my older sister also with M.S. had both Pfizer jabs & is not doing well since. I see it but she refuses to talk of it. My closest friend of adulthood was Clinically Isolated Syndrome or CIS so too few brain & spinal lesions to be branded as having M.S. but after getting both Pfizer shots, her lesion load increased & she now is an MS diagnosis. My beloved S.O.’s Aunt which a few disease risks (heart disease, obesity, diabetes) was talked into getting the jabs & she is now dead not too long after. Another friend was jabbed with both & they had a very hard time getting his BP under 300! That lasted for another 3 months, thankfully he is still alive & eventually his BP returned to more normal & reasonable numbers.

Ivermectin & MS: In this video Dr Been discusses IVM not being safe to take during an exacerbation as the Blood Brain Barrier is leaky I guess but once the flare is over it is safe again. Does that mean my brain is like a Collie? j/k!  Much luck to your friend!!!)

Autoimmune flare up or new case following vaccine

Please have a look at this article:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7833091/

(I myself have multiple autoimmune diseases and also PMDD)

. This article content is very important, especially these phrases:

– Vaccine-associated autoimmunity is a well-known phenomenon attributed to either the cross-reactivity between antigens or the effect of adjuvant [3]. When coming to COVID-19 vaccine, this matter is further complicated by the nucleic acid formulation and the accelerated development process imposed by the emergency pandemic situation.

– Reported local and systemic adverse events seemed to be dose-dependent and more common in participants aged under 55 years

-The reactogenicity of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine in individuals suffering from immune-mediated diseases and having therefore a pre-existent dysregulation of the immune response has not been investigated. It may be hypothesized that immunosuppressive agents prescribed to these patients mitigate or even prevent side effects related to vaccine immunogenicity.

-mRNA vaccines may give rise to a cascade of immunological events eventually leading to the aberrant activation of the innate and acquired immune system.

– Importantly, the up-regulation of these immunological pathways is widely considered to be at the basis of several immune-mediated diseases, especially in genetically predisposed subjects who have an impaired clearance of nucleic acids [8]. This could particularly hold true in young female individuals

– Therefore, young and female patients who are already affected or predisposed (e.g. immunological and serological abnormalities in absence of clinical symptoms, familiarity for immune-mediated diseases) to autoimmune or autoinflammatory disorders should be carefully evaluated for the benefits and risks of COVID-19 mRNA vaccination.

Autoimmune flare up or new case following vaccine

I have 8 Autoimmune Diseases and that is one of the many reasons im not jabbed. Im actually pretty healthy and they are mostly in remission as I follow a very healthy paleo diet and vitamin regime. I also have severe allergies to egg and shellfish. It a hard place to be as I literally cant get the shot, yet no Drs want to give an exemption out here in WA they just say no dont get it. I will wait until the only option is shot or death, as I feel it literally will do me in. Luckily we live in a very remote area but unluckily we live in WA state and its nuts here! If you have AI diseases its just too risky right now. My husband is a career Fire Fighter and got pressured into getting the jab ( He didn’t want to ) and for a few weeks after if I was around him I would have flair ups of my autoimmune stuff, so the shedding might be a real thing.

Autoimmune flare up or new case following vaccine

I have several friends with autoimmune diseases that said they had a flare after getting the vaccine (Hashimotos, Rheumatoid Arthritis)
