I would love to know if any PPers are current TT members.  I understand the Time Trade is actively seeking folks who might be interested in being board members.  They're also looking for someone to help staff the office on Wednesday afternoons/evenings.

Brattleboro Time Trade

I have been very happy with my Time Trade participation and experiences.  The basic principle is that one hour of Person A's time is equal to one hour of Person B's time regardless of what type of work is being done.  I've been able to help neighbors with childcare, yard work, procuring building materials, and other things, and have received invaluable help with household repairs, lessons for my kids, co-op hours, and more.

The Time Trade is set up so the exchanges are not taxable, which makes it different than barter.  If you haven't already, please check it out (link above) — and let us know if you're participating already!
