Hi.

Below is the announcement as it appears in the Rowe Conference Center catalog.

Here's what you, as someone who already knows about my work, needs to know about this seminar:

  • Watching the Crash Course is a pre-requisite as we'll spend almost no time on it.  The seminar is about navigating and managing the implications of what is in the Crash Course.  It's about what comes next.
  • This is a chance to spend time with Becca and myself in a private setting.
  • The weekend is a time to spend time with other like-minded people, which is powerful and important.
  • The seminar is dedicated to clarifying your priorities and developing an action plan.

Space is limited and we expect to fill up again this year, so if you want to come, don't wait until the last minute.

I hope to see you there.

Best,
Chris Martenson

Chris and Becca are pleased to announce their third seminar at the Rowe Camp and Conference Center in picturesque Rowe, MA.  This seminar will help you clarify your understanding of our present economic condition, make informed decisions about your future, and create balanced, productive relationships with your finances, as well as your natural and social environments.

The convergence of an aging population, enormous debts, and peak oil now assure that the next twenty years will be completely unlike the last twenty. The Crash Course will help you cut through the confusion of contradictory information and spin, gain a clear understanding of the real causes of the current economic crisis, and separate the news from the hype. Together we will explode myths, learn surprising facts, and come to understand the critical links between the economy, energy, and the environment, thus illuminating the future.

We live in an economic system built on growth, but what happens when the need for growth comes up against the realities of a finite planet?  This seminar starts from the assertion that “a crisis is a terrible thing to waste” and that the coming changes will afford us an opportunity to envision and create a new and true form of prosperity based on deeper connections to our communities and where we live.

  • The seminar will offer groundbreaking insight, research, and instruction on the workings of our economic system and the changes to come.
  • It will provide you with a “Crash Course Toolbox” to help you decode news and cut through the spin and hype of the ever-bullish media.
  • You will complete and discuss a self-assessment to help you determine your level of preparedness and generate a prioritized list of actions.
  • Most importantly, you will spend the weekend in the presence of like-minded people where you can freely speak your mind and explore your ideas and conclusions.  Past participants have said this alone has been worth the entire expense.

Register now, to be a part of this exciting weekend event.  The Rowe Camp and Conference Center is located in a serene mountain setting that invites calm, focus and togetherness with other participants.
