San Francisco - North Bay Resilience May Meeting

By kelvinator on Tue, Apr 30, 2013 - 7:19pm

Some members have expressed interest in getting together again soon, and we want to see if we have enough people who'd like to meet up at a coffee house or pub either this Sunday afternoon, May 5th, or the following weekend, either Saturday, May 11th, or Sunday the 12th.    Some of the topics we can discuss include the recent roller coaster in precious metal prices, which as an investment manager, I have followed closely, as well as other resilence prep projects such as solar PV & thermal, aquaponics, food storage, and other topics of interest that people would like to talk about.     If you're available and would like to get together, let us know when can work for you as soon as possible.   As with the January meeting, we'll find a location to meet at either in Marin or San Francisco, depending on where most members are coming from and set a time.   If not enough members are available, we'll repost and schedule a meeting further out in time.   Join with people on the same page and share thoughts, experiences and info!

You can either post a response to this thread, call Miles at 415-879-1285, or send an email to me at [email protected].   We'll then coordinate to finalize the time, day and place.

Hope to see you there!

Hi all,

Looks like we don't have enough folks for a quorum to meet this weekend.  As seems to happen at intervals, people's availability and interest naturally waxes and wanes as time goes on.   Be sure and let me know when you have an interest in getting together or particular subjects you'd like to focus on.   At some point, I may set a time and date for a tour of our new aquaponics set up for anyone who would like to check it out, now that it's running and cranking out food.  It's really fun and should be a great food source as time goes on.

Take care & happy prepping!
