A large magnitude earthquake just hit Mexico City on the anniversary of its deadly 8.1 mag quake in 1995.

Reports of buildings collapsing, but details are scant at present.

If the Cascadia subduction fault unzips it would likely be the "coup de grâce" for the US economy.
