Fake News, again?

MSM => Not! Obsolete term.

MSNF = Mainstream news fabricators.

or

MSPP = Mainstream propaganda parrots.

I think the latter.  I'm not even giving the media credit for coming up with the ideas.

CHS: Reverse Robin Hood Indeed

Charles has an outstanding post this week.

We are in a Boiling Point Crisis of Exploitive Elites

My favorite quote:

the state exists to enforce the dominance of Elites: everything else is propaganda, misdirection and obfuscation.

He includes several stunning graphs documenting the reverse Robin Hood process that we are in.

Notice how everybody (except the lower 90%!!) are increasing their incomes?

Notice how those in the $12 Million / year income bracket are doing wonderfully!

Our Congress people tweak and re-tweak the legal code to give the Elite ever greater advantage and wealth.

But they cannot stop the moral revulsion that we feel at this inequality.

There's a word for that (fake news, propaganda...)

Agnotology is the term researchers have used.

“culturally constructed ignorance, created by special interest groups to create confusion and suppress the truth in a societally important issue.”

Laura Galante's:How to exploit democracy suggests Russia doesn't care about Trump, just wants to undermine faith in the election process.

This is related to the Dunning-Kruger Effect, where the more ignorant you are the less aware you are that you don't know.  Love the concept of Mt. Stupid in the second reference.
