Daily Digest 9/9 - The Ministry Of Markets, Australia's First Fuel-Cell Bicycle

They’re Coming for Your Accounts (thc0655)

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) published a horrifying paper, called The Fund’s Lending Framework and Sovereign Debt. That paper in turn was based on one from December 2013, called Financial and Sovereign Debt Crises: Some Lessons Learned and Those Forgotten.

Major media ignored all of this, of course.

Scottish Independence YES Vote Panic - Scotland Committing Suicide and Terminating the UK? (Adam)

Whilst an £9 billion annual loss in revenues would devastate the £160 billion Scottish economy resulting in deep spending cuts and economy killing tax hikes to fill budgetary void. However, the saving to the UK of £9 billion per year would be more than offset by the loss of international investment as the UK becomes a far more riskier entity to invest in, park funds with and to do business with, potentially resulting in the annual loss of revenues of as much as over £100 billion per year. That is the real price of Scottish Independence and explains why Scotland can so easily blackmail the UK into paying a net £9 billion annual subsidy.

The Ministry Of Markets (thc0655)

Among those investors and allocators with the freedom to flee public markets, the interest in private market opportunities has never been greater. Among those investors and allocators trapped by mandate diktat in the Alice in Wonderland world of public markets, the resigned desperation has never been worse. It’s a quiet desperation in Zurich – a Teutonic stare at the floor and a wrinkling of the mouth – more obvious in Geneva with a Gallic shrug and a full-faced grimace. But’s it’s all the same emotional response to the Bizarro markets in this, the Golden Age of the Central Banker.

SIPC Insurance Scam from Fraud Street-Professor Laurence Kotlikoff (pinecarr)

Dr. Kotlikoff goes on to say, “Earning a decent return on your investments is not being a winner; it’s just having a normal economic life. That’s what you are supposed to do. You are supposed to save and invest and enjoy the returns of your investments. So, to be labeled a ‘winner’ and not be labeled a victim, and be told that your remaining balance is totally uninsured, and you have to pay back everything you took out over the last six years is disgraceful. It’s also very, very dangerous. Right now, nobody should have a brokerage account. They should close them immediately and not spend your money for six years. If you spend your money, they can sue you for every dollar of return, and that can be far beyond what you put in because of compound interest. This is called a ‘net equity clawback,’and it’s a disgrace.”

A childbirth odyssey in austerity-hit Greece (Alan W.)

The construction of a 50-bed hospital began in 2008. It was supposed to be operational for the birth of my first child and to have all the required equipment: several maternity and delivery rooms, examination rooms… everything that someone like me, who was diagnosed with pregnancy-related diabetes, would need. I waited until the last moment, but when I saw that the hospital was still not open, I decided to travel to Athens to give birth. I spent a month under observation in order to take all the tests, but if I had been able to give birth in Santorini, I would only have had to stay for a week at most. At the time, I figured that at least my next child would be born on Santorini.

The Arguments for and Against Shale Oil and Gas Developments (James S.)

The energy debate is full of controversy. Whether it is about the pros and cons of renewable energy, nuclear power or fossil fuels (FF) there are a range of arguments made on either side. If it was clear cut which arguments were best, there would be no controversy to discuss. And so it is the case with shale developments, some strongly in favour, some violently opposed. How are we going to solve our energy crisis?

Australia's first fuel cell bicycle (Arthur Robey)

"Hydrogen storage can be a problem because it's a light gas, but with the material and the technology we've developed you can actually make it safe to store and use."

Hydrogen for the Hy-Cycle is carried in a 2.5-kilogram canister that sits adjacent to the pedals. The canister feeds the fuel cell, which is located under the seat and continuously recharges a Lithium-ion battery.

Higgs Boson could spell the end of the universe - Stephen Hawking (Arthur Robey)

The field created by the Higgs Boson is believed to give mass to other particles by slowing their movement through the space vacuum. The existence of such particle was first predicted in the 1960s by British theoretical physicist, Peter Higgs, and six other scientists. However, the hypothesis was only confirmed at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN near Geneva in 2012.

How was the ISIS created?

While I am not any type of international politics scholar (and the true information is carefully hidden from public view and mixed with conflicted layers of disinformation), it does seem that there is something to the article below on how the ISIS was built and funded.  Three general principles are clear to me:

1.   For the oligarchy/MIC, a fearsome and vile external enemy is a must.  With OBL gone now, who will be our bogey man?

2.   The strategy of arming various factions (through circuitous and difficult to trace paths) is the tried and true of influencing the geopolitical chess game without seeming to be directly involved.  Intermediaries in the secret chains of weapons shipments seem to be very accident prone.

3.   Methods appropriate for the moral/spiritual developmental stage of the human community of 1,000 - 3,000 years ago, continue to be used secretly by "the leaders of the free world."  Coveting neighbors' resources, murder, lying, torture, stealing--all the stuff that Moses came down from Mount Sinai with instructions about.  Our leadership reveals its contempt for the moral and spiritual ideals that the nation was founded on and are of the utmost importance to me personally.  This is very painful for me to know about.

The Covert Origins of ISIS? posted at http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article39603.htm

Evidence exposing who put ISIS in power, and how it was done.

Would it interest you to know who helped these psychopaths rise to power? Would it interest you to know who armed them, funded them and trained them? Would it interest you to know why?
