Energy

‘Greenflation’ a risk for renewable energy, but long-term viability intact

Rising prices of commodities needed for renewable energy will increase the costs of setting up new green power projects, but this will be balanced by better access to funds and economies of scale, policy advisers and an investor said.

Energy crisis could worsen poverty for millions of Europeans

Energy prices have skyrocketed in the past months, increasing the concern that millions of Europeans will have to choose between paying their bills and putting food on the table this winter.

Environment

Mining ahead of environment and people

An influx of mining concessions in Portugal, combined with an increase in protests from local communities has led to heavy criticism of the government.

Farmers tempt endangered cranes back – by growing their favourite food

In Cambodia’s fertile Mekong delta, rice farmers are switching to the varieties loved by the world’s tallest flying bird to help stop its decline.

Health

Protests against Covid rules and lockdowns erupt across Europe

Protests against fresh Covid-19 restrictions have rocked Europe over the weekend, with demonstrations breaking out in places such as Brussels, Vienna, Rome and Amsterdam.

Health minister tells Germans: Get vaccinated or get COVID

Germany’s health minister says the rapid rise in coronavirus cases means it’s likely everyone in the country who isn’t vaccinated will have caught COVID-19 by the end of the winter, and some of those will die.

    "Some of them will die"

Not at all. Everybody and nobody will die.

Perhaps my new container will be one of the newer offerings with enhanced psychic abilities.

The problem with the new model is that it doesn't support Freedom nor the ability to operate independently.

What to do? To be discussed at my debriefing.

    Vaccinated cured or dead.

Surely this is reality and one that may be useful.   If there are more who can contract Covid and produce natural immunity with such a tiny risk to themselves then it will help create the herd immunity that the vax is clearly never going to provide.   I consider now that those with a no vax status are pretty clued up as to risks and protocols plus their supplementation regime is in place or they will have those on hand to advise.     Here’s to natural immunity !!!  Cheers she says raising her cup of star anise tea!

    Reincarnation Song

    "What does Reincarnation mean?"
    A cowpoke asked his friend.
His pal replied, "It happens when
Yer life has reached its end.
They comb yer hair, and warsh yer neck,
    And clean yer fingernails,
And lay you in a padded box
    Away from life's travails."

"The box and you goes in a hole,
That's been dug into the ground.
    Reincarnation starts in when
    Yore planted 'neath a mound.
Them clods melt down, just like yer box,
    And you who is inside.
And then yore just beginnin' on
    Yer transformation ride."

"In a while, the grass'll grow
    Upon yer rendered mound.
Till some day on yer moldered grave
    A lonely flower is found.
And say a hoss should wander by
    And graze upon this flower
That once wuz you, but now's become
    Yer vegetative bower."

"The posy that the hoss done ate
    Up, with his other feed,
Makes bone, and fat, and muscle
    Essential to the steed,
But some is left that he can't use
    And so it passes through,
And finally lays upon the ground
This thing, that once wuz you."

"Then say, by chance, I wanders by
And sees this upon the ground,
And I ponders, and I wonders at,
    This object that I found.
    I thinks of reincarnation,
Of life and death, and such,
    And come away concludin': 'Slim,
You ain't changed, all that much.'"

Evidence of a secret kept for millions of years.

Sorry Volk, I must depart from your reality. Our Models are no longer compatible.

(Put the champagne back in the fridge, Gladys. I'm on a mission.)

It has taken me several days to digest the import of this video. We have evidence that *somebody* has had a grasp on cosmology superior to ours, and they would have had to have at least 30 Million years of observation to come to *their* conclusions.

    30 Million friggin' years.

lolz. Love it! More truth right there than in all the philosophies of Yorick and Hamlet combined, methinks. Thanks @DennisC.

Hey, maybe we're reincarnated, maybe not. Since I don't remember any previous lives, I doubt I'd remember this one next round, either. So reincarnation makes no difference to my experience of life.

Maybe we pass right on to a spiritual life, maybe not. As an article of Christian faith, I affirm that destination. As a matter of certain knowledge, I don't have it and have to acknowledge it might be wishful thinking at best.

Whatever our contemplations of life after this, I only know this much: the meaning of my life is neither more nor less than what I put into it, today. My past is dead, it doesn't matter now except if the mistakes can guide me to better decisions today, because how I conduct myself now determines my future earthly history.

I am certain my life here ends one unknown day; I can only work on my legacy in the world. And I'm pretty certain that if I do this much well, the rest will take care of itself. I adopt the deeper Christian ethical and moral values because I believe they're true ways to live goodly lives, but I don't think it matters what I believe if I don't embody my values in my actual actions - for I am convinced we are what we do, not what we profess, and what we really believe is shown not in our words but by our daily actual actions.

And when I die, I want to become that posy nibbled by a horse or fox or rabbit or chicken, and excreted to fertilize the microbe-rich, life-rich soil. I have no illusion that my body, at least, is anything other than a part of the grand web of life. I wish to return it when I'm done with it.

And as for my soul - well, we all believe something. It'll either work out there is some kind of self-awareness afterward, or not. Either way, that's out of my hands. All I have influence over is me, here, today. It's enough. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

    A Logical Fallacy

    Why?

Because we also do know today that the earth is about 4.5 Billion years old.

Does that mean we have been aware and been around ourselves since then?

    Obviously not!

PS- There is evidence that high Global Civilization and high Technology had existed 12,000 plus years ago, and perhaps even earlier, but, they also had made the same mistakes as we are all making today, and had lost it all.

    A weensie correction.

You don't have a soul. You are a soul.

You have a body. (Very much like World of Warcraft.)

    Everyone and Everything is Recycled.

Matter, Energy, and Spirit are all just different modes of being and All are essentially One.

Just as Ice, Water, and Steam are all just different temperature and pressure modes of H2O.

Natural Laws are the One eternal Spirit or the One Soul that's all within Everything that Exists.

Our individuated soul is just a single raindrop falling through life and sky and then returning to the eternal ocean as "out of many", One Soul.

There is an assertion upon which the common model is built. It would be unkind of me to ask you to defend it.

What could you use, but what you have been taught, which amounts to years of assertions and speculation? For instance the dates of rocks depends upon a steady decay rate. Evidence mounts that the radio-active environment is anything but stable.

NASA is sending a probe to the moon to find out if the craters are electrical discharge phenomena or meteor strike.

To address the fallacy of the video, one would have to attack their evidence. How precisely does Sirius maintain it's position in relation to an ever precessing Earth? And that there is the riddle of the Sphinx.

The builders of the pyramids thought that this fact was so important that they pointed a tunnel at Sirius.

If my guess is right, then Max Igan's assertion that this is Not the first reset is correct. We've been here before. The Pyramids were built to warn us.

Catastrophists have evidence that It happens every  13500 years as we run smack-dab into a polarity reversal of the Birkland currents that turn the galaxy itself.

It is not that difficult to explain.

Just as the moon only shows one side to earth,

the same with our precession relative to Sirius.

The same with the relative size of both the moon and the sun relative to the earth,

although all of the sizes and the distances of all three of them do vary tremendously.

Yes, I do agree that, our current high-technology global Civilization isn't our first one!
