    Chris Martenson is Back!

Peak Prosperity is Now Under New Management
    by Chris Martenson

    Thursday, May 13, 2021, 10:50 AM

I’ll keep this brief and let the video speak for itself.

I’m back and Peak Prosperity is now fully back under my sole control.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to everyone who helped to keep the site full of rich content over the past 4 months, and especially those who continued to support the site with their memberships.

Short version: (1) I am back to my old ways of reporting on all the things you care about, (2) I have hired in a top-notch team to help me bring Peak Prosperity to a much wider audience, and (3) there will be a lot of changes happening to the site over time.

I’ve already kept my first commitment and removed all third-party ads from the site!  No more gold ads or creepy tracking by Google, et al.  We’re sacrificing that revenue to help preserve your privacy and to make the site that much more attractive to more people.

We’ll still be ‘advertising’ our own internal offerings such as seminars and events from time to time, as appropriate.

Which reminds me, I will be attending the Joel Salatin Polyface Farm event June 25/26 so if you haven’t signed up for that yet just click here.

I could go on and on, but I won’t.  Let’s get right to it.

Here’s my special announcement:

Finally, I have a lot more information to share with our paying members including my #1 concern right now.  If you are a member, please be sure to click here to read this premium article so that you understand better the changes that are coming and how you can help make this community faster, better, stronger.

Finally, I am looking forward to hearing any and all feedback.  The good, the bad, the ugly.  Whatever is on your mind, but especially what sort of content you’d most like to hear me talk about would be helpful.  There are so many things to cover that it’s hard to choose!

Your faithful Information Scout & Chief of Community,

Chris Martenson, PhD

    Great Marketing

I really like the idea of using censorship as the backbone of the new business plan. Seriously, it is brilliant.

I don't think I will be paying to see what is "behind the wall" but I think it will be successful for you. I appreciate being able to come to the open forum here and discuss topics, so thank you Dr. M.

I wish you and Adam success.

    Awesome news!

Great Chris, so glad to know this!

One thing that has been an issue for me personally, as well as the wider Deaf, deaf and hard of hearing community is that the alt websites to not have closed captioning or subtitle features, unless it is already embedded in a video. I know you know that accessibility for all is super important so I am hoping that you will take the extra step of making your videos inclusive for all. 🙏🏻

Many thanks for all that you do and best wishes going forward!

    Pace yourself there, Erik!

Erik, I do believe you are in contention for the 'slowest pace of posting' award for this decade.

Big honors, buddy, you've been there with me from the start on this crazy journey, and I am glad to call you my friend and confidant.

    Vaccines

Great to have you back, Chris.  Really looking foward to what is to come on the relaunched PP.com site.

Suspect I am not alone in wanting hear your take on the vaccines.  Which, when, whether, etc.
I have been in wait-and-see mode but the social pressure to comply and offer up my arm has been relentless and exhausting.  In all my years I've never experienced anything like it...

    looking forward

So it turns out that before the Oligarchy engages in censorship and site takedowns, they first monitor everything.  I have evidence - which I will not share (I don't want to compromise my sources - that's the best way to lose them) - that the Oligarchy greatly intensified the monitoring of this site, as well as others, in the days before, during, and immediately after November 4th 2020.

This site is 100% in the crosshairs.

Here's one news article that talks about what is going on in general terms:

    https://news.yahoo.com/the-postal-service-is-running-a-running-a-covert-operations-program-that-monitors-americans-social-media-posts-160022919.html

The law enforcement arm of the U.S. Postal Service has been quietly running a program that tracks and collects Americans’ social media posts, including those about planned protests, according to a document obtained by Yahoo News.

The details of the surveillance effort, known as iCOP, or Internet Covert Operations Program, have not previously been made public. The work involves having analysts trawl through social media sites to look for what the document describes as “inflammatory” postings and then sharing that information across government agencies.

As the Reset, and all the myriad crises get worse, I do not think the surveillance will grow less enthusiastic over time.  The 2022 election will be a monster power struggle.  In 2020, we had the CIA-QAnon operation.  What could they do for an encore?  The mind boggles.

They'll need realtime surveillance to track how well they are doing.

We need to anticipate this, not react to it later.  I believe that is what Chris is doing.

They ripped Parler offline in a heartbeat - coordinated action from AAPL, GOOG, AMZN.  Servers, apps - all gone in 24 hours.  This was just the start.  The Oligarchy does not intend to lose the "election" in 2022.  They will do whatever it takes.

We have been warned.  We might want to plan ahead.

Our own servers.  A paywall.  Its just a good idea.  Assuming we want the site to live, that is.

    Just saying.

    Guests and discussions

    Hi Chris
During your absence, I have been doing my own research and following leads, especially about C-19, treatments and vaccines. I am sure that you will have seen many of the same papers, interviews and recordings. I would be particularly interested in your take on the warnings published by Dr Geert vandal Bossche and by Dr Judy Mikovits.

Here's to the next ten years … if we've got that long!

    Very welcome news!

I have followed Chris Martenson's writing since about mid-2008, though I formally joined as a paying member in January 2009. While I rarely post, I follow the site and message boards with interest. I wish Adam all the best in his new endeavors. That said, I have long sensed a disconnect with Adam's interests. Anyway, getting to the point, I will re-enroll in the next few days. The now solely owned (by CM) site deserves paying customers, and I shall once again be one. I especially appreciate Dave (Fairtex) Pare, for his contributions to this site and his steadfastness. Chris Martenson has the courage of his convictions!

Chris, so happy that you are back. I  care what you have to say, but I do also reserve the right to disagree with you. The fact that you are comfortable with that approach is the reason that I listen to that which you have to say. You are a champion of critical thought. You do not proselytize, but share your well founded opinion and allow me to research further arears that have may otherwise may have been opaque.

Great to have you back AND Love the new sound recording studio!

Great to see you back on the site and to hear that PP is now 100% your baby.  I love you and Adam both as family and will continue supporting both of your sites in the years to come.  To echo some earlier comments, getting your take on the vaccine would be quite useful (and hearing your thoughts on whether taking the vaccine makes any sense if you have already had COVID with minimal effects, especially with Ivermectin).  Also liked Dave Fairtex’s comments on researching this cancel culture and looking for non-censorable alternatives to current centralized social media platforms.  Can’t wait to see what PP does in the years ahead as it truly looks like unprecedented times ahead and rational thought is needed now more than ever.  See you at the Polyface Farm event.

    Sense of relief!!

So glad to have you back, Dr. Chris!! While I've always had a healthy dose of skepticism and wariness, last year I really started feeling a sense of unease and disillusionment with everything (our gov't, health care system, agencies, MSM, corporations, etc.) that all was not what it seemed or that I always thought (probably naively) that it was. I discovered your videos early on ... around the end Jan. or early February and paid close attention. I'll tell you my family was not without toilet paper when the store shelves were empty and it was a headline story a couple months later. 😀

You've been right about so many things and helped me make sense of them ... PCR test, HCQ, the I-medicine, etc. I take hydroxychloroquine  for rheumatoid arthritis so I was especially interested in that story last spring and now IVMTN. The suppression of that data has completely shattered my faith in institutions. Dr. Kory is really a rock star in fighting that uphill battle and I follow the FLCCC very closely now. Anyway, I digress. I don't post much but I've enjoyed reading other like-minded individuals posts here in your absence but it's so glad to have you back. I hope to remain part of the tribe. It's so difficult to share thoughts with anyone these days aside from my mom and spouse for fear of confrontation, ridicule or censorship. I fear for the future but do harbor some hope.

    No apology

    Welcome home!

I will not apologize for my skepticism about your return or even your being alive. We were all watching over you during the frightening moments of your disappearance, but I wanted to blatantly express that we were eyeballs. We still are. Eyeballs are the best form of security, according to Jane Jacobs, and I myself can't think of anything better. We were watching everyday. We still are.

So, go for it. Thanks for all your strength.

    Welcome Back

Chris, so glad you are back.  Since your disappearance its been hard to crunch all the data on my own.  There is so much dis&misinformation out there from all angles.  Look forward to seeing your viewpoint again.

Everyday I look up at the sky, I think about whats happened, and how so many people reacted, and what they believe.  I wonder what is going on, what I can do, where I can go.  I dont sense anything good in our future, and I am looking for those shining light in the darkness.

    Thank you

I'm in the middle of reading "Resurrecting the Mysterious" by that great remote viewer, Ingo Swann. He points out that there are at least three modes of consciousness.

    • Reason. (responsible for 200 million deaths. Which reminds me of Persig's "Church of Reason")
    • Emotion and
    • Intuition

I'm going to have to stop using the statement "Incredulity is not an argument."

Only when all three are used harmoniously can one claim to be a neophyte, but at least the distant peaks are visible.

Two other books come highly recommended. "The Dharma Manifesto" and our own Oera Linda which I shall quote off the top of my head

Freya places our feet upon the path and the Great Wheel, that is Time must do the rest; for it is the desire of the Wr-alda that we be free to experience the results of wise and foolish decisions; that we may become wise and help each other.

(Drat. The batteries are getting low. it is going to be difficult to post this. I catch rainwater for the nickel-iron batteries. For all their faults they are nearly indestructible.)

I wouldn't be posting this if I did not think it important. I shall use this moment that the Wr-alda has given me to further elucidate.

Dr. Dutton, Evolutionary psychologist, holds that this period of indiscriminate survival (brought about by oil), is going to reverse as hard times re-introduce themselves; and the upward march of our gain-of-function intelligence will resume. (You didn't think that us organisms became miraculously intelligent by natural selection, did you?)

However Dr. Dutton is unaware of the work of Historian (Ret.) Dr. David Jacobs and his exploration of alien hubrids. (Spelling correct). "Walking among us."

Nor of the implications of the SAFIRE experiment. (17 times more energy out than in. Once the correct model of the suns prodigious output was obtained, creating energy turns out to be surprisingly easy)

Frost is gone, CM has returned.

Here in south central Wisconsin it’s time to plant the seeds and transplant the seedlings, some of which are 24” tall and starting to flower indoors under LEDs.

Add in the return of Dr. Chris and this weekend is looking up a bit more every minute.

Glad to have you back, sir.

    EDIT - site ideas:

    • Topics of the week banner so we can read up before you post
    • trading post for members - just a thought for seeds, tools, whatever we may wish to “keep in the family”
    • regional identity of willing members disclosed somehow - I would like to meet some members nearby this summer
    • Bulletin board for physical meet ups. I would love to host some local members on my new property off the Mississippi River for a camp out once my well is dug.
    • have some PP members on a video for discussions and chat. Mots, DF and THC would be a good start. Radio and solar guy, numbers guy and a security guy. Possibly covered ground already, but a one on one with any of the three or others would be interesting.

One thing I learned during the housing bubble (05/06) was that most people would rather get poor along with everyone else than succeed on their own.  Like Covid it was a time of seeing things I never would have believed if someone else had just tried to explain it to me.

There were people in Miami trying to convince their "genius investor" friends that things were out of control.  You remember the data:  No one with job like cop, teacher or nurse can afford a home in the City limits so how can you run a civilization and that sort of thing.   Even if they could finally break through, the genius investor would say, "If its as bad as you say, the government will have no choice but to bail us out."

I didn't think people would prove this impervious to the data when they believed their lives were at stake but here we are.  Their lives probably aren't at stake but they believe it and look at the mental effort they expend.

I genuinely believe we who live in the West are "somewhere else" now.  It's not Nazi Germany but its not The West as we knew it either.   I just want actionable information to help me navigate in this new place.  I can come up with ways to be miserable about it all on my own so I don't need help with that.  I need the lateral thinking, the positive outlook.  The optionality.

    Quick story:

When I was dating my wife I proudly showed her some gold coins and she said, "Thats great but in my country (Soviet breakaway republic) I remember people pulling out Gold and getting US Dollars sent in from relatives abroad.

Those people ate better for a while, but the real winners were the ones who realized that things were never going back to the way they were and started living accordingly.  The real losers were the ones who sat on their hands waiting for the Russians to come back or for their own country to do communism for the locals."

That advice was smarter than anything I have read from anyone to be honest.   I try to remember it every day.

    I feel...better!😊

Like dreinmund, I didn’t truly realize how much I was waiting for your return, Chris. I’ve been keeping myself pretty busy so could forget that my daily fix of sanity was absent but now I feel nearly euphoric at the prospect of new beginnings. I definitely want to be a part of it and support the effort. Also continue to want to establish some non-virtual connections if possible.mLooking again at Polyface if I can talk my DH into it. Thanks, Chris, for being you and providing this gathering place.🙏

Without it, I am not personally responsible for your emotional health. (I got half way and retreated before evil. I just don't have the stomach for it.)

    A "Chris Martenson" is mentioned.

    WELCOME BACK CHRIS!!!

    excited!!

the topic I would most likely see a deep dive into is ENERGY

guests I would like to see:

    1) Art Berman

    2) Michael Saylor

    3) Steve St Angelo

    4) Lynn Aldon

    5) Rick Rule

    6) David Morgan

    7) Max Keiser

    8) Justin Huhn

I would love to talk to these guests about there thoughts on Energy in the future and be challenged in an open conversation about anything your research disagrees with. I think an open conversation or healthy “debate” would lead to some great critical thinking.

Also how the current state of energy has influence on your “savings” , portfolio, and allocation to the 8 forms of capital.

    G'day mate!

Great to see you back ...  and you front.  🙂

PP has indeed spent some time in the doldrums, but the wind is blowing again. I had been watching things quieten down and to be honest was expecting it to fade away — and yet our stalwart members maintained a high level of discussion. At the same time I have been very glad of Raúl at The Automatic Earth who has been sending some truly pertinent and revealing material our way. He filled the gap to an extent.

I second what Pappy suggested: some way for members living in proximity to identify one another and be able to meet and greet. In Canberra I know of only one other PPer, apart from my wife. Are we really that scarce, here in the nation's capital?

I feel the same way as wotthecurtains: there is a new spirit in the (glorious) West and I don't like it at all. We are in a time of transition. Not sure what we are transitioning TO, but it does not feel good. In Oz I feel a sense of urgency, desperation and ruthlessness among TPTB. Almost as though they know something is coming and need to prepare for it. We the people need to be herded into some Promised Land, only They have no real idea what and where it is.

The motto of one branch of my family tree is "Spero Meliora", "I hope for better things." Yep, sure do. And not just hoping, but working.

Well, I'm one more. 🙂   We might even know each other, I have hung around with quite a few sustainability/peak oil groups over the years. Perhaps we should go old skool and hang out near the big bugs bunny memorial near the lake?

    Dialogue

    Troubling yet interesting times.

There is definitely a movement of "captivity" in play.

When you see that job openings are on the rise, yet Universal Income has people preferring to stay at home - what sort of future is that?

Plus the so called information that we get: lots of intelligent people predicting inflation, and others - equally intelligent - predictig deflation.

Great to hear that you are back Chris.

Please accept by my nature that I may refute some of things you say - that is what freedom of speach is all about. Dialogue!!

We have been denied dialogue for far too long - let your site be a source of Dialogue.

    A bientôt

PS  Perhaps a logic primer would be good for everyone re: objective thinking.

Oh my gosh, in a world constantly diminishing by the rapacious jaws of oblivion nipping at our heels, lets turn and face the beast, shine our brilliance toward the jackals, and come to recognize that as sentient beings we all contain both the shadow and the light, capable of devouring but just as capable of feeding. Reciprocity, give and take, feeding and eating.......time to give back to this World so neglected, hungry, and nearly forgotten. Cultural amnesia caused by the over domestication of the soul is modernity's present condition. Our indigenous souls, still alive deep within our individual memories-like seeds waiting in dormancy for the right time and set of conditions to sprout forth-know we are capable of peaceful coexistence......if we do the work in living within the web, rather than as a non participating outsider who has forgotten our place in things, our place within the great big flourishing world.

Thank you Chris for all you've been doing, thank you brothers and sisters on this site for keeping the fires tended in his temporary absence!

So glad, that for me, the time is finally right to subscribe and financially support Peask Prosperity. Ive been with you all the way, though have taken more than Ive given. I'm humbly grateful, like a dormant seed, to recognize the time is now.....to grow, to flourish, and to employ my native authenticity in more fully participating in help making this world live, this website, and this amazing community.

Wife and are heading down a crystal clear river today, coursing through Vermont countryside, and connecting with the beauty and peace of this precious life.

It's a good time to be alive!

    Tears of happiness

I never knew I could feel this happy to see the return of another human I have never met.  The tangle of intellectual dishonesty leads to absolute isolation of the honest. Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for creating this space and having the courage to continue forward. Thank you for allowing me to let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. A re-look at the idea of vaccination

Hi Chris, welcome back - I'm another who found this site from your fine You Tube videos through the early pandemic. The following link is from those early days and speaks of the difficulties of protecting against a virus caught through the respiratory system. Do you think this had/has been considered enough with the current crop of vaccines (along with mutations of a virus of course)? It's looking like they're not working as well as expected in India, Seychelles and Maldives but this doesn't include the mRNA vaccines. Dr.Chris!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Christmas in May, it's hard to convey how happy this makes me! I found you due to your covid videos and have high regard for the way you present and communicate information and ideas. The world has gone mad; "Truth" as Lies, "Lies" as Truth. It seems as if there is nowhere to turn, every source is spin...what have we become as humans? Count me as one of your latest subscribers where I hope to find a tribe of truly critical and independent  thinkers. WELCOME BACK!!

Re: A re-look at the idea of vaccination

Jay, that article is almost a year old. The dominant narrative from both the ABC and the Murdoch Press now is that the vaccines offered by Pfizer and AZ and even J&J have been proven to be safe and effective.

My concern is of course that one or more of these vaccines may turn out to be another thalidomide — safe for pregnant women until it wasn't. It took 4 to 5 years, thousands of mutated children and an immense amount of public pressure to take it off the market. This was in 1961 or 1962, depending on which country was involved. I remember it well. I don't know if today's medicos are taught about it. If they're not, then this sad experience is one more wasted example of the need for rigorous clinical trials.

Very, very well done Chris. Back in Jan/Feb when the saga began to unfold about the 'demise of PP' my spidey senses told me that silencing Chris Martenson was simply not going to happen.

I'm glad you have been able to wrestle back the ownership of PP. One day I look forward to that backstory. Meanwhile, my spidey senses are saying "this is now and we are very very short on time to prepare."

We are embarking on a new period of 'the next 10 years' and it's going to be a doozy IMHO. I'm so glad to have been working the problem over that period. My community has made a lot of progress. Connecting with like minded folks here is a huge help!

Given what I see coming, preparations to date will not even be close to what will be needed. That is ok, there is something very satisfying in doing what you can with the various resources we have available. Measurements become somewhat arbitrary.

Mother Nature bats last and she is pissed! Rightfully so. Really looking forward to the next chapter. Your field looks great btw.

Cheers to you, Evie and your new staff.

    Best,

    Coop

    Re-considerations

Yeah, I'm aware what's being sold and how old the article is. However I'm not so sure any of the current crop of vaccine developers particularly thought of longer term respiratory tract issues regards immune protection in the rush to get to production. That question mark may well stand, along with ADE etc as discussed here (link has also been posted elsewhere on a PP comment - that's where I got this from): https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0250780&fbclid=IwAR2O9zxfWy_5lFdWHG98CFmis9dFPvcMAFy0RaX2ILtdLwW8lew-u9LKHks

    Information overload

I'm ok, but my feeling is that there are too many variables for an ordinary person to process at once, alongside getting on with their life and household & family tasks.  Masks, social bubbles, who can hug, who can sleepover.  Variants, is it airborne, which vax to get (none for me), how to visit with family abroad when 1 dies. It's like kids on a sugar high, or adults after the 6th cup of coffee - a calming influence is needed.

    Good to have you back.

    Spidey Senses

Welcome back.  You’re coverage of Covid-19 has been valuable.  Having “The China Study” close to the top of you’re recommended reading list literally changed my lifestyle and health.

I’m still interested in the top two causes of death in the US.  Spidey senses don’t work so well on those.  I’m not singling Chris out here.  Everyone wants to pretend that the top leading causes of death are things we have little personal control over.

    Whitney Peak?

I have followed Chris on and off since the Crash Course started, that helped me form a plan and get to where I am which isn't the perfect place but is an improvement on where I was. I turned back to him when the pandemic hit and was not disappointed, now I am so pleased that PP will continue in his control that I have subscribed, a big thing for me as I don't have much money. I am concerned though that it seems payments are still going to Whitney Peak?

    So glad you're back ;)

You were my #1 source of trustworthy, evidence-based info in this current chaos... before anyone else, usually.   There are other great sources out there (Corbett, Kennedy, Unz et al), but you are special.... you have the 'proof' (REAL science) for what you present.   (I posted FB links : )

I hope you'll address the curent elements of the Reset, the REAL vaccine stories,  HCQ, IVM, and the newcomers which are making the vaccine totally unnecessary... for us, but apparently critically essential to Someone...etc.  I know you cannot put the spotlight on major players/instigators in the NWO, but I can figure that out myself : )   Also.... I know you'll be addressing the most ingenious and efficient methods for raising our own food (got my crazy Italian hens last spring), i.e., mealworms, red worms,  soldier flies, etc - most efficient for which climates, small landholdings etc.  ... and energy.... etc.

You were/are irreplaceable.  I also hope you can help with effective ways to help enlighten the sad 'normies'.  I'ved considered discretely distributing 'info sheets' in parking lots, etc .... what info is most psychologically effective in planting the seeds, cracking the MSM campaign, etc.?

(PS - how is that 'interesting' couple who apparently had recurrent C 19? )

Thanks again.... you are a gift!

    Nancy

Glad You're Back, Chris - Keep Refusing to Buy Into the Divisiveness & You Can't Go Wrong! ;-)

I'm also glad you and Adam seem to have been able to sort things out so well in a way that works for you both.  I've enjoyed the different angles you each have brought to the site over the years.

You are so right, of course, that this is a critical and existential moment (even on a geologic time scale) in the evolution of the human species, and a time for us to pull together.  And as you say, such a moment is the perfect time for freedom of ideas, freedom of speech, for free and fair discussions with some heart and kindness shown, with time and care taken to separate fact from fiction.

It's a good time to drop the axes we no longer need to grind.  A good time to not get stuck defending any one view, political or otherwise, but for open ears, open hearts and open minds to new information, feelings, and thoughts, but with dynamic critical thought and intuition at the center, integrating it all.   And, to drift a little into the mystical, it's a good time to listen for the quiet sound of those new creative, benevolent energies from the future already waiting to be born into the world, and to give them a hand!  😉

Decentralize while the iron is hot.

Chris, I'm a world class computer security expert. You helped me immensely for all of coronavirus and you're clearly someone who knows to take a prudent course of action. I'd like to pay it back in some small way. I would wager we both would agree that as situation globally intensifies, so will censorship of the free exchange of ideas. I saw another comment here mentioning putting your movies on IPFS which would certainly be a great last ditch backup for distributing videos, however there is a better one that meets the needs of independent communities TODAY. That network is zeronet network. Zeronet is the only easy to use network that your average user can use today to access decentralized content. Zeronet is not the end goal for the internet, but I assure you that from my very privileged position it appears to be the best choice for a community facing censorship. 99% of peak prosperity users would likely only use ZN for your site and that is fine, its no different from having a custom app for PP.  The more people that use it the faster and harder to take down it would be. Your website is not hard to shut down by the powers that be. I sincere hope you consider making a zeronet site as just an experiment, or perhaps a barely flushed out framework for if the day comes that it is blatantly clear you need it.

Glad you're back, kept checking in

    Me too.

Recently I've come across information pointing very strongly towards the role of highly refined seed oils that make up a large part of the so called Western Diet.

The consumption of which starting in the late 1800's tracks perfectly with the astonishing increase in modern degenerative diseases: heart disease, strokes, diabetes etc.

    Here's a good starting presentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2UnOryQiIY

    Great!

Great news! Let's see how it goes. I have to be frank and say I was planning to unsubscribe at the next go-round because I just don't have the financial means that made much of your content useful. But this is definitely more promising.

"How's it going to end?" -- The Truman Show, 1998

Chris, where's this elaborately-planned false reality going to take us? Instead of D vs R, will V+ and V- humans live in separate communities?  by choice or by law?  coexisting, or in conflict?  if covid-19 signals the end-game for the globalists/fascists, how much time till our current system collapses?

    great to have you back!

Very glad you'll focus on resilience issues, Covid + vaccines if possible (maybe safer behind the paywall?), more focus on crypto maybe via VTGothic would be great.

Fancy looking studio and great sound!

I appreciate the homestead/gardening info, it's fun but in my opinion it's not the distinct value proposition that this site and your talents bring, that info is available elsewhere in many places.

You have a distinct voice that is really valuable not just to us PP subscribers but as a part of bringing reasonable perspectives into at least one corner of our national conversation. (similar perhaps to Bret Weintstein; plug for his darkhorse podcast #80 in which he discusses lableak hypothesis going mainstream and a certain iver-something)

Yah !! Chris is back - Well deserved rest !!

Chris, I have been following you for 11-years now.  I discovered  you through a  conversation with NASA Scientist while both of us were waiting to board a flight from L.A.   From time to time I have purchased a one-time access to a specific premium topics, which by the way was well worth the investment.   In addition, I have found this site & its members always willing to help provide input to questions I've  asked. People on this share their knowledge, experience & insights.  The information you have always provided has helped me add to the the information, knowledge, decisions , etc. to navigate the now & the future.  Certainly your work on the Covid outbreak was leading & spot on from my lens.  It is incredible that you & others get censored.  Thank you for coming back, staying the course & do what you do.  Looking forward to the next 11-years or more God willing.  Elizabeth

    Is ot worth it?

    Hi Ironpuppy,

My 5 cents. I resubscribbed because I consider this community a breath of fresh air, and, I want to support this. I will cancel my subscription in one or two months... and resubscribe when I deem it useful for me, or necessary for PP.

Do I think subscription is worth it? Most definitely, if one has the monetary resources. But rest assured, the quality of the videos of Chris, post of PP’rs , and information shared in the public forum is in general of a high quality that could help to navigate the past, on potentially coming turmoil.

So, my answer: yes a subscription is worth it imo, but yes, because integrity reigns on PP, one could also do without a subscription in case SHTF.

I’m not sure if my opinion adds anything, but here you go.

    Take care, Dave

Coming to an Opinion without the Facts

I don't understand how @ironpuppy12345 can post that comment.  How can you even question if the membership is worth it if you haven't seen the product? I, like you, am not a paying member but I am not going to publicly question the value of something that I haven't seen.  At least pay the $30 and try it for a month before commenting.  I found this site through the Adam Taggart finance series (which has split to form Wealthion) and check in to see if anything interesting is going on.  After things settle down I may join, I may not, but I am not going to criticize in an off spirited way a group that appears to want to genuinely navigate this topsy turvy world.

    over and out?

Count me as disappointed.  IronPuppy told us - not long ago - that he was "over and out", which implied that he would pester us no longer.

Sadly, this was just a broken promise.

Ironpuppy: speaking just for myself - I don't want you here.  Inauthentic people like you add no value.  Go away.

    Peddle your bitcoins somewhere else.

    [EDIT]

A massive Iran HCQ retrospective trial - which clearly shows a benefit:

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1567576921002721

In our large outpatient national cohort of adults with mild COVID-19 disease who were given HCQ early in the course of the disease, the odds of hospitalization or death was reduced significantly regardless of age or comorbidities.

I thank the Mullahs for their insights into the pandemic.  Chris was right about HCQ.  So was the Bad Orange Man.  So was Dr Zelenko.  Funny how things play out.

    OK,

So PP is losing 1/2 of its input.  Will the membership $ be cut in half Chris?  My status is pending cancellation, but I would like to see what you come up with, look at the new cost structure and make up my mind at that point.  Best of luck but if you are going to be talking about gardening and hydrogen power all the time, $300 per year seems pretty steep.

Do you folks start Monday?  When should independents take a look at the new content?  Thanks,

    Welcome Back

Chris, to say I have missed your insight and commentary would be an understatement. There are so few sane people who value the sanctity of life and the fine art of living over the destruction of humanity we are currently experiencing. You, my friend, are the voice from the wilderness who will attract like-minded people to coalesce towards a more inclusive society, which offers an abundance of life as opposed to the slow agonizing death being hoisted on global societies by the powers that be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul.

    Masks

Follow the money. It is in Big Pharma's interest that this virus fracas continue for as long as possible, therefore it is in their interest that everyone stops using masks. To argue that masks aren't effective, is to make Big Pharma's case.

Companies are mandated to only act in the interest of the shareholders. We force them to lie to us.

You are making several false assumptions in my opinion.. #1 You are talking about a "pandemic" with a close to 100% survival rate. So, essentially, the covid pandemic has been a hoax.

#2 Masks dont work. There have been several studies none of which have concluded that masks provide any protection. Moreover, we have data from states and countries that did not mask up or social distance and they faired just as well.

So the purpose of the mask is to help sell the hoax in order to push an experimental vaccine onto a gullible and naive segment of the public. The mask is a walking advertisement for the gene therapy drug.

EddieL. It's not what you get, it's what you give that matters

It's funny, the most important things in life can't be measured in money terms.

You know that, and you see value, or you don't (that's your personal perception),

And what did you mean by:   "When should independents take a look at the new content"?

Besides, I find gardening and hydrogen power fascinating!

Masks and Models. (Reply to Brushhog)

My own grasp of the situation is much more tenuous than yours. (the tea leaves have not settled yet.)

How's this? In the begining masks helped the hysteria, but as the viral bloom passes, Big Pharma would prefer us to cough over each other.

    Models.

(I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours.)

The Pentagon read the unassailable Limits to Growth report in 1972, said "oh oh", and started planning. They need to drop the population by, at a guess, 60%.

So they scared the bejebus out of the population, and drove the herd into the gentle hands of Big Pharma, who administered the coup de grace, by sterilizing us. (We are already a very infertile hybrid, but thats another story).

Is my model complete? Absolutely not! I'm still trying to figure out what the Aliens are doing. My intuition tells me that we are not their first, nor last iteration.

And then there's the micro-nova event that we are about to experience. ( I'm going to guess that is why the moon was created hollow; it makes a wonderful bomb shelter).

I agree with the comments on the around the social pressure.  Each person has their own criteria and that should be respected.

    A few vaccine related questions:

    1. Do we know if any of the vaccine trials performed before and after blood testing (beyond serological testing) to see if there any major differences in any levels?  I have not seen this mentioned in any of the FDA filings.

    2. The CDC has the Sentinel system that should be monitoring health and disease trends (using data from a few healthcare system including claims and clinical data).  Specifically would like to see if vaccinated/unvaccinated/unknown vaccination status are seeing more incidence of any diagnosis.  I have seen no reporting on this.

    3. Do we know what overall Covid-19 surveillance testing is being done to measure on going antibody strength from vaccines/normal infection and potential breakthrough cases.  It appears that the CDC is relying on state and local health departments to report on all breakthrough cases.

    4. Any thoughts on the Adaptive Technoligies https://www.t-detect.com/ T Cell testing product?

    Masks and Models ..

I'll be sensitive here because a friend was recently censored on this site for expressing an alternative viewpoint.  But, Mercola.com provides a very good article about how masks (which C.M. always pushed as being the solution to this pandemic) are very ineffective.  Interesting read.

Change in the face of new evidence is allowed

Not that he needs defending, but Chris has always said he will change what he says in the face of new evidence.

In the beginning, when little was known about this virus and resulting disease, masks were thought to work best. He explained why, viral loads and all that, which made a lot of sense. I do not know his position on this now but I expect we will find out soon. He nailed many other things - the hyd. drug which cannot be named, ivm and other things like furrin cleavage site (sp?) and other scientific things. He was a trusted source in a sea of sources that cannot be trusted. Still is...

He was, quite simply, way ahead of the curve, which enabled many of us to be ahead of the curve as well. Most of us were not caught short in the ensuing panic for masks, toilet paper and other panic shopping. We were already stocked up and watching to see how it all played out. We continued to pay attention to what he was saying, weigh the evidence as it was presented and arrive at our own decisions.

What is your point of your comment? What do you hope to accomplish with that? Are  you enriching this community by being here, or are you detracting from it?

    Masks

It seems crystal clear to me at this point that cloth masks, the type worn by the vast majority of the population are absolutely worthless, and quite possibly harmful, for a healthy person.  Surgical and even N-95 masks are likely also ineffective. This page does a sold job reviewing the available literary on the topic. If you’re not into studies, just search out those videos showing particles flowing through such masks, or compare case numbers between long maskless Florida, Texas and S. Dakota and still masked New York and California.

I don’t blame Chris for being wrong here.  He’s very smart but not infallible. And LOTS of people have been wrong about LOTS of things regarding SARS-CoV-2.  Heck, I don’t even blame our politicians and public health officials for their masks stances, with the notable exception of Fraudci, who has lied to the public every step of the way and is still lying.

However, now that we have much more relevant data than we possessed a year ago, it seems ridiculous to still be enforcing masking, like some localities, retail stores and school districts are doing. I can only conclude that they are either ignorant or reluctant to give up their newfound power over others.

I'm enriching the community in my opinion.  The point to my comment is, take the masks off, breath the fresh air, because the masks are not protecting anyone.  One can argue (based on listening to Bossche) that masks and lockdowns extended the pandemic period leading to positive mutations of the virus.  My stance has always been, protect the seniors and high risk individuals, rest of us take the masks off, lick doorknobs, and get it over with.

    Masks

Chris is absolutely right about masks. Please consider the basic biology concepts.

Viruses and bacteria dangers are similar to radiation and poisons in that you dont get a deadly disease and die because one virus or one bacterium got into your nose.  You are imbibing (and actually synthesizing in your body) all kinds of poisons at low levels all the time, eating and breathing radioactivity.  We are constantly eating and breathing low levels of viruses and bacteria.  It`s the numbers and whether we get an extreme dose that overwhelms our defenses that is the point here.

I live in a country that uses masks to limit spread of virus infections for years before covid was invented.  Our covid infection rate is still about 20 fold lower because of this.  And, this year we have virtually no flue season because of the extra efforts.  We have virtually no vaccine usage so far.

WEARING A MASK IS NOT ABOUT YOU OR PREVENTING YOU, THE WEARER FROM GETTING AN INFECTION, ITS ALL ABOUT PROTECTING YOUR COMMUNITY FROM YOU WHEN YOU ARE SICK. IF YOU ARE NOT SICK THEN FINE, TAKE THE FREAKING MASK OFF, BUT DONT ATTACK WELL KNOWN FACTS JUST BECAUSE YOU "DISCOVERED" THAT A SINGLE VIRUS PARTICLE "IS SMALLER THAN THE PORES OF MY MASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The simple act of sneezing into your arm (shirt), covering your mouth when you cough etc. and washing your hands when you have a cold are very important and work very well for the same reasons that an infected person who wears a mask is less toxic to the community.  Your kindergarten teacher was correct.  I  am amazed to read these comments. In an unruly/uncivil community where infected people refuse to be polite and follow kindergarten practices, the teacher may insist that everyone wear a mask.  If people were polite and considerate to their neighbor, these discussions would not exist (Asians for example dont have these stupid fights).  This is not my dog (I only have limited time for other things instead) and I will not respond to keyboarder blowback.

    Mots, re Masks

Mots, I teach undergraduate biology and other life science classes.  Your point is well taken. Any barrier may be better than no barrier when someone sneezes. But would you want to be in an enclosed space with someone COVID positive who is coughing or sneezing while they wear a cloth mask?   Regarding the relative success of your country I firmly believe that most countries have done so much better than the USA because the USA has the worst “terrain” - highest rates of obesity, diabetes, etc. I the world. Last, even assuming a cloth mask substantially reduces transmission from coughs and sneezes, those who are symptomatic are a tiny minority.  Why have we been mandating that healthy people wear masks?

    "Mots vs Masks"

TWalker, I did not and do not argue your political question.  I also do not agree with your woe is America because it has "the worst terrain" argument.  The infection rate is not really affected by risk factors, we are not talking about death rate due to obesity (terrain arguments concern death rates primarily and not infection rates). Anyway, if you are right, then maybe you could consider addressing the real problem and might explore the causes and effects of American hedonism instead of misinterpreting and attacking good ideas we heard from Chris.  You stated that "[a]ny barrier may be better than no barrier when someone sneezes."  Are you willing to state that "any barrier IS better than no barrier when someone sneezes"?  This is a dispositive point that should be settled.

Further, I may have answered your political question by my observation that when an entire community acts like bunch of uneducated children and refuse to follow basic hygiene then the kindergarten teacher acts with mandates.  I dont want to argue politics, religion, or nutrition with you.

    CORNWALL Hits the big time

    cornwalllive.com. Weekend Report

As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with G-7 wives.  Each wife had G-7 sacks; each sack had G-7 cats; each cat had G-7 kits.  Kits, cats, sacks and wives, how many were going to St. Ives?

Well, Rats! I thought I had discovered a beautiful, undiscovered local for my bucket list.  Now to be trampled by the elites.  Hang on to your tin, my friends.

You're right about most of that stuff Arthur with one exception; The moon was not created hollow to house a bomb shelter. It's where they keep Kavanaugh's rape victims, Jesse Smollet's white supremacist attackers, the evidence of Trump's collusion with Russia, the two weeks that would flatten the curve and Biden's cancer cure.

Thats the only explanation because the government never lies, and to suggest otherwise would make us crazy conspiracy theorists.

Here nurse-professor Dr. John Campbell offers the (firm) view that we should be vaccinated.

Please be aware of the inverse relationship between education and model flexibility.

I have challenged him in the comments section (No! Surely not!), but he wisely declines to wrestle with swine.

I raised the issue of the hollow moon because every 13500 years our sun runs smack-dab into another ripple in the magnetic field associated with the electric current that turns the galaxy like a pancake motor.

Ref: "The Next End of the World" by Ben at Suspicious Observers.

And then we take into account our gain-of-function unexplained jump in intelligence, giant skeletons, massively brained skulls of Paracas, Peru etc. that are empirical evidence that have to be woven into a comprehensive model.

The book, "Who Built the Moon?" is available on Kindle, and is not unique in making a good fist of the idea that the moon is not what it seems.

Then there are Retired Historian, Dr. David Jacob's discoveries about Aliens and their plan.

Corralling all this evidence lends credence to the idea that we are about to be irradiated and exterminated and replaced by our successors who will inherit this planet for the next 13500 years.

If this is too much to stomach, that is OK, it just means we are at opposite ends of a personality spectrum. Dr. Jordan Peterson's lectures lend me to assume that you would be a no-nonsense, hard-working guy. (Me. I wouldn't hire me in a fit. Fortunately, I am retired).

    Here, let Ben entertain you.

    Wrong on masks

I'll be sensitive here because a friend was recently censored on this site for expressing an alternative viewpoint.  But, Mercola.com provides a very good article about how masks (which C.M. always pushed as being the solution to this pandemic) are very ineffective.  Interesting read.

A few hours ago I banned/blocked Ironpuppy for being a net drain on things around here.  Interestingly, one thing IronPuppy got dead wrong was in stating that I had claimed "masks would be the solution to the pandemic."

I never said any such thing.  I said, quite explicitly and repeatedly, that a properly worn mark could lower the inoculum, which would be a very good thing especially for those with comorbidities.  You know, a lower 'dose' leading to a less-bad case of the disease leading to a better outcome.  Further, if everyone was wearing such masks properly and regularly, much lower rates of transmission would be expected.

Now, against all odds, just hours after IP was banned, a brand new account is created by a certain "Teddy65" which takes up the same wrong strawman argument as IP!

    Think of the odds!  🙂

So much fun - put wrong words in someone else's mouth and then accuse them of being wrong.  For some I guess.

Hey IronPuppy/Teddy65 - here's a free pro tip; if you are going to try and sneak back in undetected, probably not a good idea to use exactly the same incorrect assertion that got you banned just a short while ago.

    Adios amoeboes!

So nice to see that you're back after what must have been a stressful time.  I was thinking of you last week and here you are.  Congratulations on managing to get your business back under your control, and thank you for your decision that Truth, Honesty and Integrity are more important than other people's ideologies.

While we await Dr. Martenson's next analyis, let us entertain ourselves with a Romanian Gypsey's (Is that Racist?), commentary on the state of the world.

He is a Doctor of medicine and always on my must listen schedule.

(Moral conundrum: If it is not racist to claim to be Romani, why the discomfort when I claim to be a Saxon?)

The vaccine meme war. (A contrarian position)

There is a wide chasm between the positions on the vaccine war. There are some issues that should not be brushed under the carpet in the hopes that the hominid is as thick as a brick.

    • Will our gonads be safe?
    • What about Paradoxical reactions by a virus challenge in the vaccinated? (Death by cytokine storm.)
    • What about spike protein shedding?

(" One fist of iron and the other of steel, And if the Left don't get you; the right one will" Some song or other.)

This is a bridge, that once crossed, cannot be uncrossed..

Thailand inflates figures ahead of great vaccine push

Thailand has just announced on their social media/ TV channels that "today we have over 9000 new cases."  This is ahead of their new vaccine push to start next month. They do admit that over 6500 of these are in the prison system-  vastly overcrowded cesspools at best.  Scare mongering as the previous month's new lockdowns were initiated due to high numbers of college students testing positive (though mostly asymptomatic.)  Those unfortunate kids were confined to the hospitals, generating much needed revenues, although either not ill or mildly sick.  Eventually this scam was scrapped as they ran out of beds for real patients.

Prior to May, the only vaccine was the Chinese Sinovac and in limited quantities for citizens. It was started in BKK.  Surveys show the outlying rural areas don't want it by a large majority. Less than stellar start which left 7 partially paralyzed that they've acknowledged.

Originally TL had a deal with Moderna, but rumors were enough palms weren't greased sufficiently so that fell through. The AZ vaccine was originally to be produced  in TL  first of the year, then suddenly the Chinese appeared. Now AZ is back on track for production.

They have just opened it up for Foreigners at private hospitals for $300 USD/dose.  In the future, they promise it free to "high risk Foreigners" presumably to avoid prolonged hospitalizations and non-payment.

Supposedly a northern province governor has mandated the vaccine with a hefty fine and jail time for non-compliance. Fears are rising in the non-citizens that any educational, work, or retirement visas will become contingent on vaccination proof.  Although TL offers excellent healthcare, many Foreigners are considering their options.

The economy is tanking almost to the point of no return. The boost from tourism has been underplayed  though the govt. officials promise reopening in stages in July. Previous deadlines for allowing in tourists have been pushed back at least twice.  Rumor is requiring a vaccine passport. Due to their insane requirements for reentry to those Foreigners trying to return in 2020 despite valid visas and family in TL, we'll see. Know someone who lived there, went to Vietnam on holiday, and got stranded now for over a year. Recently traveled within V and someone in their hotel tested positive. Confined to their room for two weeks. Not cheap either. Chinese tourists from Wuhan however were allowed n Mar/Apr of 2020. Go figure.

The Chinese have always had ties in TL.  It is one of the few locations C tourists could previously visit with relative ease. Thai administrations have done deals with the Chinese before like the ill-fated rice deal by Yingluck.  In the end, Thai farmers were screwed out of set prices, rice spoiled in warehouses, and the money disappeared as did the Chinese bank receiving it.

Remember that China now controls the world-wide opium production: #1 is Afghanistan (since Biden removed all US troops) #2 is Myanmar. The border is porous between TL/Myanmar. TL has lots of airports/sea ports. Open the area with "tourism" and voila! the Golden Triangle is off and running.

So Chris what is your current position on masks?

We all know your original position and the logic behind it. Has it changed at all based on the data over the last few months?

    Youtube algo failure.

This is a report about scientific malfeasance in the Ivermectin efficacy analysis against Covid.

But why did YouTube allow it to be published?

Putative guess: "they" have rolled out enough self spreading vaccine that the population collapse is now unstoppable.

Therefore, they can take their hands off the wheel.

Libertarianism is an expression of Neoliberalism

    Hi Chris,

I was a paid subscriber for years because I was, and still am, so grateful for the Crash Course. It helped me think through my priorities at a time when the only easily available source of criticism of our political economy was  Zero Hedge and all of its associated libertarian sites. I unsubscribed last year because 1) I am old and getting poorer and 2) because it seemed you had gone over to some really cringy place. I think the sorts of commenters usually found on Greg Hunter have gotten really creepy. I think the all of the gold bugs are total creeps. I have been surprised during the pandemic to see the local food movement taken over by libertarians and right wingers as well as vitamin pushers and other scammers. I don't know whether this is an accident or whether someone is actually funding this. I am guessing that there are some bad folks out there doing this.

As you have pointed out, the problems are not only financial but environmental. Most of the folks who comment on this site seem only interested in their portfolios. I have no portfolio but I do have a roof over my head and a garden. I don't know whether the vaccine will carry me and my family away but I kind of doubt it. I think it probably works. However, when the general public wakes up to the fact that the corporatists allowed people to die without lifesaving drugs so they could sell the vaccines they have been working on for years, there will be hell to pay. And yes I think it will come out. It is coming out now thanks to you and many others.

Faced with the multiple crises that you truly understand and have explained so well, I conclude the the answers will be communitarian not libertarian. The solutions to our predicaments, if indeed there are solutions, must involve a critique of the very foundations of the way we organize production and consumption. You can go hang out with a lunatic capitalist farmer if you want to but I think viewing food as a commodity is at the very foundation of what is wrong. And I wonder whether you will be able to generate enough income if you actually start to talk about what we might all do together.

By the way, I am in Massachusetts, not too far from you, and I have incredible numbers of birds and insects this year. My barn and sugar house are full of swallows. The economy didn't grow this year but insect and bird populations did. What does that tell you? If you would offer an elderly discount I would join up.

Much love and good luck to you and yours

    E

    Libertarians are not neoliberals

Libertarians are more of what could be described as classical liberals. They have nothing to do with the liberals (progressives) today. Libertarians are more live and let live as long as you don’t interfere with me and my life. You say right wing like it is a bad thing. Note a bird needs both a right wing and a left wing to fly. Both sides need each other as a moderating force. One party rule is a BAD thing no matter what party you prefer.

Instead of insulting people’s political beliefs why don’t you take a more tolerant approach and maybe one of us with a portfolio would sponsor you for a year.

Gold bugs are not creepy. I’m not sure who Greg Hunter is so I have no opinion if he is creepy or not. Sometimes people are Always trying to sell you something online. It is what it is. I’d rather hang with a capitalist farmer than a socialist any day. Every farmer I know is a hell of a worker (Living in the mid west I know Many farmers) and I have yet to meet one around here who is not a capitalist. People in this country don’t understand what poor really is. I learned about poor courtesy of Uncle Sugar and his all expense paid desert vacation. You have food to eat and a roof over your head. You were allowed to get an education. You weren’t killed for your beliefs. That is life for people in some crappy countries I have been to. I pray every day that we find a way out of the societal death spiral that we find ourselves in. That and I plant a garden.

Getting Back to What Made PP Successful

As someone far more interested in our energy prospects and environmental issues than how to increase unearned income, I'm glad to see Chris take full control of the site.

Stopped checking in months ago b/c wealth preservation and investments seemed to become the priority, lucky timing to log in today for the 1st time in 2021.

BTW, Jimmy Dore might make a good interview.  He's got terrific political insight and is all about class war  (up vs down, not D vs R).        Would like to hear your take on Guy McPherson and think you two could have a fascinating conversation.
