Seems like most readers here KNOW this information...
I did not find this link on CM so I post it here as

3E related think-tanks / organizations

This may be a bit off-topic, but I figured that members of this community might be able to help me out. I'm a college undergraduate student looking for a summer internship, preferably related to something that I care about. Does anyone know of organizations that do work related to research/advocacy of 3Es, sustainability, or any related field? I've found several promising organizations via Google, but thought I'd give a shout-out to the community here to see if anyone has some suggestions.

Thanks all!

Ten things that should be self-evident

  1. In whatever way you define biodiversity, humans are part of it.
  2. Humans obtain services from ecosystems to survive, make a profit, or increase their own well-being. In doing so, little effort is made to ensure long-term (inter-generational) well-being or equity; the focus is on maximising short-term well-being.
  3. To extract services, humans often adapt and simplify existing ecosystems or replace existing ecosystems with simpler ones. Humans thus increase their well-being by reducing the diversity within and between ecosystems; that is, by reducing biodiversity.
