The end Beginning is Near!

Please join Transition US on Thursday, December 8th for this memorable evening featuring:

City Living

Our aim is to help members survive within the city limits during a time with scarcity in energy, food and water.

With real estate prices rising, it becomes important to find new ways to save and prosper. I have also included a list of important links to help with understanding the new-age, digital world.

Planning or Preparing

I was driving near my home in Cobb County, Georgia yesterday and noticed a sign posted in front of a small business.  You know the type: a catchy saying tying to get your attention so that you will remember that particular insurance agency, etc. when you would otherwise not even know it exits.

Hard Work Up In Vermont/Rewarding Experiences

Hi folks,

While these days of prepping, or the long months and years of having hints about a grim future can sometime get us down, I just wanted to share the experience I had yesterday and how rewarding it was.  I am of a mind that society can and will recover from collapse and many things built today can be reworked, in a more positive way, in the future.  Hard work today doesn't have to mean it will be harder in the future.

Village Building Convergence

The Village Building Convergence is an annual collaboration and cross pollination of neighbors, groups and civic partnerships to transform our town through village life patterns and educational placemaking projects. This culminates in a 10-day fall celebration.

During the day, you will have the opportunity to get involved with creative community designed placemaking projects happening all over the town. There will be building, gardening, art, and many other fun things to do and great people doing them with you!

Learn a skill, meet someone new. Sunday August 17: Chicken killin' time!

This Sunday August 17th around 8-9am, we're processing pastured meat birds in Duvall WA. We're only doing 15 birds, so it will happen fast.

If you come, you will be able to learn this particular person's pastured poultry process from field to freezer.

We reserve the right to cap the attendence, as this is a small homestead.
