Weekend Along The Farm Trails - Free Event

Good Food. Good Farmers. Good Fun.

On Saturday and Sunday, September 27th and 28th, Sonoma County farmers will open their gates and barn doors to offer a behind-the-scenes peek at life on the farm.

Most of the stops are FREE. All you need is transportation, a map of your route, a cooler to keep your purchases fresh, and a sense of adventure!

WWOOFers and Farming

As part of my resiliencey plan, I started gardening on a large scale - part time at the beginning of 2012.  My farming partner and I are in our early 50's and we both have full time jobs apart from the farm.  In our first year, we sold our extra produce at a local farmer's market and enrolled 11 CSA Members.  FYI, CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.  Most of our members are half members who pay an annual fee of $75 and then pay $20 per week for a pretty big bag of clean, chemical-free food (we are not certified organic so are barred from using that wo

Farm Tour?

Farm Tour anyone?

Was thinking it would be great to take Ben ( and Amy up their generous offers to tour their farms.

Ben & Amy: does the offer still stand?

If so, please let us know some dates that would work well for you to have a group of us come by and take notes on your respective operations. I'm guessing an hour visit per farm is about right?
