TONIGHT: The "Accelerated" Crash Course Debuts

Free tonight? Live in CA? Join us!
Tuesday, March 4, 2014, 10:56 AM

The day has finally arrived...

Chris arrived here in California late last night. And tonight, we're taking over the local movie theater in Sebastopol and offering an advance viewing of a brand-new, not-yet-public, updated AND condensed version of The Crash Course.

After the 50-minute viewing, Chris and I will hold an "ask anything" Q&A session with the audience.

For those planning to come, we're asking folks to consider bringing along at least one friend or family member you think would benefit from becoming more aware about the issues we discuss here at PeakProsperity.com, as we want to get feedback on this new "accelerated" version of the Crash Course from both seasoned and brand-new viewers.

Date & Time: Tuesday, March 4th @ 7pm

Location: Rialto Cinemas, 6868 McKinley Street, Sebastopol, CA 95472

Ticket Info:

Looking forward to seeing you tonight!

cheers,
Adam

We understand this is likely a HUGE tease for those of you who can't make it. Our sincere apologies. We need to take this for a test-drive as well as complete some additional new content production before we're willing to release the new ACC ("Accelerated Crash Course") video into the wild. It will likely be at least another month or so before it goes public (but don't take that as a firm quote).

We knew this sneak peek would likely be catnip for fans of the "classic" version of the Crash Course. Forgive us for waiting until the go-to-market plan is fully in place before committing to details (which we promise to do when ready). We're working as fast as we can...

Ill tell you what has greatly

Ill tell you what has greatly decelerated. Oil companies investment in exploration in favor of enhanced dividends.

If that doesnt tell you something. Nothing will.

I have been pouring through the oil data of late and the fact that the seven majors are all deciding to reduce or limit CAPEX while facing eroding production tells you all you need to know....namely that the current price of oil is not sufficient to support investment and expected returns.

This is exceptionally important information....and yet it is utterly drowned in the noise of the bubbles the Fed (et al) are blowing....yay!  New highs for stocks!!  We're all saved and going to be rich!

I'll be writing a lot more on this topic because it's really central to everything.

Break a leg!

Well, we don't have to worry about paltry things like energy CAPEX because all is well in Ukraine now that there will not be a war today.  Risk on, baby!

I wish I could be in attendance tonight.   Break a leg, Chris and Adam.

Chris,

Gail Tverberg has recently written on this topic.  A podcast with her would be great.

Exploration for commodities in general have been dropping

In order to bring the break-even price of gold and silver lower, producers have been reducing exploration drastically. it's going to create a very interesting lag in resource development. The oil lag is likely to be severe.

Agreed!  Will get her back on as soon as we can.  She's been diligently hanging with this important story despite all the PRopaganda [sic].

How about a Sneak Peak for Premium folks....

Hi Adam and Chris,

How about setting up a private online Sneak Peak for premium folks...

Either a simple password protected video site like Vimeo or send individual viewing links...etc.

Anyway,  looking forward to seeing it...  Things ARE Accelerating!

That's what I was wondering: is the course accelerated or is the crash accelerated? cool

Re: Gail Tverberg

In a market as large as oil if costs outstrip demand and there is no viable substitute then that is damning evidence of failed central banking.   The only solution is for the currency to go to zero and have a reset of input costs including labor and true cost of money.   How this will happen without large war I cannot imagine.

Pinecarr,

well, we had a pretty full house, and there were even a fair number of hands that went up from people who had not seen the Crash Course before, so we reached some new folks, which is always a goal of mine.

I personally was really impressed with the quality upgrade of the video as it looked sharp even stretched fully across a large movie screen.

We got some great feedback on things to tweak, images to replace, and other nips and tucks that could improve it even more.  The REALLY good news is that we've produced this version in final cut which means we can pretty easily perform such upgrades and rapidly release a new version.

It's no longer unthinkable to have multiple versions out and about, although I am not committing to that at this time.  We have to finish the long-form version of the CC upgrade first before we get too fancy here.  We're still a very small team....

I also got to meet a lot of very wonderful people, some of the faithful and some new, and that's always an energizing experience for me.

We stayed late and pretty much closed the theater down talking until the last minute....

Thanks for the update, Chris!

It sounds like the accelerated CC showing went well!  I'm looking forward to when it becomes publicly available to check it out, and hopefully to get one or two near-and-dear to me to check it out.

I would have loved to have been in on the Q&A Session; it's always fun to listen to your real-time interchanges with an audience (and podcast guests).  It gives a different view into your understanding of things.  Did anybody tape the Q&A by any chance?

Sorry we missed it!

Could anyone that attended comment on the presentation as it compares to the current CC?

I am sorry to have missed it, congrats on the turnout Chris and Adam!  Hope to see you soon.
