The Case For Real Estate Investing -- Free Webinar This Saturday
Just a reminder that the first installment of our new 5-part webinar series on Real Estate Investing takes place this Saturday, Feb 9th @ noonET/9amPT
240 folks have already signed up for it. Have you?
If not, register now. It's completely free:
Why are we offering this?
Because, here at Peak Prosperity, we've long been advocates of moving more of one's wealth from paper assets (e.g., stocks & bonds) into tangible ones. We've also written about the merits of developing inflation-adjusting income streams.
Real estate offers a time-tested means of doing both.
But it's critical to be sufficiently educated before jumping in as a real estate investor. Risks abound at the property, community, financing, and macroeconomic levels - all need to be adequately assessed and addressed to succeed.
And in many markets right now, real estate remains far too overvalued. But that won't last forever -- in fact, a growing number of major metro areas show clear signs of correcting. Our goal is to have you well-prepared for the coming time when attractive value can be purchased at much lower prices than today's.
So that's why we've asked our friends Russell Gray and Robert Helms (aka The Real Estate Guys), to create this multi-episode webinar series for you. They're going to share the knowledge and best-practices they've amassed from their lifelong careers participating in and educating thouands of investors about real estate investments.
The first webinar in this series (this Saturday's) focuses on the "why" behind real estate investing. What should it's role be in your overall investment portfolio? How does it compare/contrast to other asset classes? What kinds of returns and tax benefits can you expect? What are the major types of real estate investments? (there are many!) Who is each approproprate for? What are the fundamentals for success in the real estate investment process?
Russ Gray will be leading this first webinar. He'll present for the better part of an hour, then field live Q&A from the audience for another 45 minutes.
Everybody who registers for the webinar will receive a copy of the replay video afterwards. So even if you can't make the live event -- still register! You can watch the replay video later on when you have time.
This first webinar in the series is free to everyone. The following ones, which get into the nitty-gritty of the investment process details, will be available for a fee. Here's the schedule, so you can mark your calendars:
- Feb 9: The Case for Real Estate Investing (Russ)
- Feb 23: The 4-Step Process to Real Estate Investing (Russ & Robert)
- Mar 9: The Math -- leverage, arbitrage, taxes, calculating total return, etc (Russ & Robert)
- Apr 13: Picking your Niche & Team (Robert)
- May 11: Your real job: Managing the Team & the Rings of Risk (Russ & Robert)
So again, if you haven't registered yet for Saturday's free webinar yet, consider doing so now:
We're excited to be adding such useful content from such seasoned experts to the PP curriculum. We expect those interested in gaining exposure to income-producing real estate will find this of tremendous practical value.
See you on the webinar!
cheers,
Adam & Chris

How much for the subsequent webinars?
Interested in this as well. Could be worth the fee alone if we were able to have these archived and go back through them as I/we go through this process.
Thanks for doing this and the ability to replay.
Busy this weekend so v useful.
UK property prices sliding away with Brexit, debts and uncertainty over economic outlook, so personally I'd wait until the next recession is in full swing to buy...
How much are the items discussed in the webinars relevant for international markets, I.e. which part of it is rather US-specific? Thanks!

Most elements of the real estate investing process are pretty universal.
Some, like tax treatment, will differ from country to county. But most of what will be presented in this series should apply to most non-US countries.
How much for the subsequent webinars?
The general price will be $50 for each, but...
those who register for this first webinar will be given a chance after it airs -- for 72 hours -- to register for the next one for only $40 (a 20% discount to the general price)
We'll offer this same discount at the end of each subsquent webinar (i.e., register for the next one at a 20% discount)
cheers,
A

Confirming these webinars will be archived. Any of the episodes in this series you purchase (as well as the free #1 episode) will be available to revisit as much as you like.
I was able to participate in the first RE webinar sponsored by PP and The Real Estate Guys, and it was really outstanding: a very informative and valuable two-hours. While this first one was provided at no charge to participants, the cost for future webinars is a very modest $50 for content that others pay hundred$ for. Having unlimited access to the slides and recorded sessions for re-viewing and to share with others, AND the 20% discount off of future PP RE webinars makes this an awesome deal! Many thanks to Chris, Adam and The Real Estate Guys Russ and Robert, for pulling this together for the PP tribe. :)
Congratulations Guys, pretty good session.
I couldn't watch it live, but watched the replay. A lot of stuff to digest.
Question/s for Adam:
At this point, all my money is tied up in my retirement account so I don't have a lot of liquidity. However, I'm interested in exploring various investement options for small capital investors, say from a couple thousand to less than $10K in the US, NYC which is where I live and overseas. 1) Is this something that will be addressed in these webinars?. I liked the idea of syndication as an investor rather than as a syndicator. It will get me the opportunity to dip my toes without risking a lot of capital while learning the ropes. 2) Will this be doable after completing the series?
3) How to assess investments, risks, credibility of projects, legal and reliable resources to verify validity and legality of potential projects/syndicator, etc.?
Thanks,
John NYC
Hello Adam: I have another questions:
1) Is there an expiration date after which the replay of this webinar will no longer be available?
2) Do they provide closed captions or transcript to fallow the more cryptic terminology, names, etc.?
3) Will there be available a list of presentation slides, list or resources and other related material?
Thanks a lot, again
John NYC

John -
1) No expiration. You'll have this replay video forever.
2) No, we're not doing closed captions for this series. Perhaps in future ones.
3) In the replay video email for webinar #1, we did include a number of resource links. We'll do the same for each future webinar.
And as for specific questions you may have regarding the material, Russ & Robert have kindly offered to respond to questions submitted by the PP audience to [email protected]
cheers,
A
