Registration for the 2019 Peak Prosperity annual seminar -- taking place April 26-28th in Sebastopol, CA -- is now open!

We've set up a fancy website with all the details, as well as a series of videos that explain what you can expect the experience to be like.

Check it out by clicking on the video or the blue button below.

And note that the Early Bird price discount expires at the end of this month. Act soon to lock that lower price in!

We look forward to seeing you in April!

cheers,

Adam & Chris

Ok, a few questions...

I'm going to be the onery one who probably missed a few details, but here are some general questions:

1) I assume lodging and meals are not included. Are there cheaper lodging options available? Any outdoor/camping options in the immediate area?

2) Meals- I am assuming that, based on the names of the places I'm seeing, that being vegetarian in this area is zero problem. Getting around may be the only issue, but if I make a big run at that Whole Foods, I could probably then just get all my meals there...

3) What airport is the best to fly into, and if I can make it out (fly in on Thursday evening), should I Lyft out to Sebastopol?

We're in the process of figuring out the finances behind this, and every unecessary penny we can save is important.

Snydeman --

Ask and ye shall receive.

Yes, meals and lodging are not included in the registration fee (except for the Saturday night party/dinner, which is courtesy of Peak Prosperity and New Harbor)

These links should provide answers to all of your other questions:

But if not, just ask.

Excited to meet you in person in April!

cheers,

Adam

A TV for Adam

I don’t think I can attend, but I do want to send Adam a new TV for his kitchen!

LOL

That old TV set has been a dust-collector for years now. Happy to say we just don't watch it while in the kitchen.

I'd toss it, but it's the landlord's, not mine. I'm sure she'd welcome a free upgrade if your offer still stands :)

Seriously though, Macro -- we hope to see you at one of these seminars in the future. Given your many contributions to the PP communal discussion over the years, I think you'd really enjoy the experience, and I know we'd love meeting you in person.

cheers,
A

Absolutely.  Hopefully the schedule works out next year.  In the meantime, let me know if you find yourselves in Chicago (or terminal 3 at ORD).  First round is on me.

Malwarebytes Does Not Like Your Site

When I hit the "Hit me with all your seminar goodness" button, Malwarebytes blocked me, claiming it was a potential phishing site.

Strange

That's strange. We're hosting those pages on Instapage. Defintely not a phishing site.

Anyone encountering a similar issue can get most of the details (minus the videos) and the link to register on this page.

Camping

Snydeman,

A few of us camped last year, about 20 minutes north of Sebastopol on the Russian River.  I plan to do the same this coming spring - depending on the type of camping you're doing, maybe we can share a site.

Here's where we stayed last year: http://riverbendresort.net/

Feel free to PM me (and anybody else interested in camping too) - maybe we can get a PP camping group in the same area.

Thanks for the information! Hauling my camping gear would weigh me down considerably on the flight out, though, and my gooal is to travel light and only use carry-on space.

So, I've signed up, gotten an AirBnB at a nice farmhouse just down the road from the conference location, and purchased my ticket through Southwest. I'll be arriving in Oakland around 1:45pm on Thursday, taking the shuttle north to Sonoma county, and then Ubering or Lyfting over to Sebastapol. That will let me settle in before the conference starts on Friday, as well as hop out to the town to buy up materials for meals.

I'm also flying out on Monday for the same reason, as I'd really like to see Singing Frog Farms and not feel like I have to rush out the door to catch a flight the same day...especially since I've got some kind of time-sense that raises my stress level if I'm not super early to everything.

I imagine I don't actually have to buy the shuttle ticket until closer to that weekend, correct? Does it matter when I buy it?

I look forward to meeting some of you all in person!

-Snydeman

PS- I find it hilarious that I'm finally doing this when it's on the west coast, but never went when it was just a hop up the coast for me...it's amazing how much motivation the popping of the everything bubble provides!

Snydeman --

It's great that you're coming!

You're going to have a great time. Many of the active posters you know from the site here have already registered to come -- you're going to love meeting them in person and getting to know them well over the weekend.

As to your question about the shuttle, you can buy your ticket anytime. You can even buy it once you board the bus, though I'd recomend purchasing online beforehand for convenience's sake.

See you in April!

cheers,
A

The seminar is great

Last year I signed up at the last minute, and I was really thankful I did. It far exceeded my expectations, and I really encourage anyone on the fence to attend. For those far away, I also encourage you to make a vacation out of it, I cannot stress enough how wonderful West Sonoma County is. I wish I lived there, but lucky for me I'm about 45 minutes away.

I'm still seeing how the stars align myself, since there are so many other events I want to attend this year in this area...but I sure hope I can make it again this year.

Seminar Seats Look Poised To Sell Out Early Again This Year

We're seeing high demand again this year for the annual PP seminar.

Folks may recall that last year's seminar sold out before Feb 1. At the current sign-up rate, this year's seminar appears on track to sell out by then, if not sooner.

I'll provide another update on sales next week. But looking at the current data, if you're thinking about coming, I'd recommend signing up soon (plus, you'll also lock in the discounted Early Bird ticket price).

cheers,
Adam
