Personally, I love the idea of meeting up in Olympia. Our state capitol would be a really great place to have our first regional meeting. There is a nice little area out in front of the library between the buidings where most hearings are held that would be a nice meet-and-greet location (.John A Cherberg and the John L O'Brien). Maybe set a time, plan to meet for about a half hour or so just to provide introductions then maybe decide on another location to head off to for maybe coffee. Doing a meet and great and posting the location here publicly but then moving to a different location for a longer sit-down adds a touch of security. Remember, this is currently an open forum available for anyone to read. As I have previously stated, security is important and based on my experience doing meet ups w others of similar interests to those we are all stating here, some of us are really great and others maybe not so great. Particularly for the single women who may be participating, I would really like to see some initial security precautions.
