Besides Chris [3], Peak Prosperity is run by a small but passionate team of talented individuals focused on operating and improving the business and its related offerings, building awareness of the Crash Course, and helping Chris' efforts to build a world worth inheriting:
Adam is the President and Co-Founder of Peak Prosperity. Basically, his job is to handle the business side of things so that Chris is free to think & write.
Adam is an experienced Silicon Valley internet executive and Stanford MBA. Prior to partnering with Chris (Adam was General Manager of the earlier site, ChrisMartenson.com), Adam was a Vice President at Yahoo!, a company he served for nine years. Before that he did the 'startup thing' (mySimon.com, sold to CNET in 2001). As a fresh-faced college graduate, he got a first-hand look at all that was broken with Wall Street as an investment banking analyst. Most important, he's a devoted husband and dad.
Becca has been a part of the team from the very beginning, is deeply versed in the Crash Course material, and has been a student of the economy for the past six years. She has assisted in every seminar and workshop Chris has facilitated, her primary role being to help participants move through the emotional issues that arise when encountering the material for the first time.
When not working with Chris or homeschooling their three children, Becca serves as Board President of the Vermont Wilderness School. She also works as a private consultant, helping individuals create positive change in their lives through visioning and strategic planning. Becca and Chris have been married for over 20 years.
Ron is a technology implementation and business strategy consultant, and CEO of the Shimshock Group [4], a consulting firm providing services to business startups, entrepreneurial organizations, and mid-size companies.
Ron serves as Chris and Adam's technology adviser and system implementation consultant, helping to transform their information delivery ideas into reality. Ron has been actively involved in the design and development of the website and overall technical architecture, and helps implement new online offerings. He is also a long-time supporter of the concepts put forth in the Crash Course, and is excited about the opportunity to help share the message with others.
Amanda is a writer and copy editor whose background includes assisting executives in the book publishing and public television industries.
Amanda handles customer service and subscription and technical support. She attended a local Crash Course seminar in 2006 and began helping the cause by volunteering her copyediting skills. Amanda homeschools her four children in rural New England.
In 2008, Jeanine was in a 9-to-5 rut, working a steady job running a small office but feeling restless. In 2009 she quit her job, spent three months working on organic farms in Chile, and returned to the States a changed person. The chaos of the return has subsided, and she now divides her time between working at a small home farm, a bakery, and Peak Prosperty. Jeanine's work for Chris and Adam includes publishing the Daily Digest [5] and some graphic design work. She's able to utilize her software and creative talents for a good cause while still having time to work with her hands (for a good cause as well!). When she's not in front of a computer or behind a horse-drawn plough, Jeanine can be found playing pool, taking photos (found at www.teenytinypress.net/blog [6]), or cooking.
While not involved in Peak Prosperity, Alejandro was an early contributor to the development of ChrisMartenson.com, a precursor website to Peak Prosperity. He is also the founder of jandro.com [7].
