Join our Volunteer Brigade

We're passionate about calling public awareness to the messages of the Crash Course, as we believe that making these topics a subject of public discussion and debate is essential to the future prosperity of our nation. Now that the Crash Course is complete and available both online and on DVD, the race is on to get the word out the the media, our elected officials, and the general public. But we can't do it alone!

We're actively recruiting volunteers to help us spread the messages of the Crash Course. The job description includes (but isn't necessarily limited to):

  • Uploading Crash Course videos to Internet video sharing services such as YouTube and Google Video. We've already produced special versions of the Crash Course videos that direct viewers who see the material on other distribution channels (such as YouTube) back to PeakProsperity.com.
  • Putting the word out about the Crash Course on social networking sites such as Twitter, Google+ and Facebook.
  • Organizing e-mail campaigns to bring awareness of the Crash Course to the attention of elected officials and media outlets such as TV Talk Shows and Newspapers.
  • Combing the Internet looking for places (such as finance blogs) where it is appropriate to post links to the Crash Course.

We're calling our volunteer force The Peak Prosperity Brigade. Here's how it will work: we are coordinating the effort through a special section of the online Groups at PeakProsperity.com intended just for the Brigade.

We offer some high-level direction on general initiatives, but the members of the volunteer brigade will be contributing most of the specific ideas. So, for example, one volunteer member might post a note to the forum saying "Hey, I just heard that John Stewart is planning his 2013 guest calendar," then other members of the community could jump into the conversation, collaboratively planning an e-mail campaign to flood Charlie Rose's inbox with suggestions that Chris Martenson would be an excellent guest for his show. This is just one hypothetical example, but you get the idea.

We need all the help we can get, and the more time and energy you can contribute the better! We have devised a Volunteer Application Form, which is intended to collect some basic information about each volunteer. We particularly want to know if you have any special contacts or skills. So, for example, if you work in a Senator's office or you're a practicing attorney, we want to know those things in case they are relevant at some time in the future.

Interested? If so, please send an e-mail introducing yourself to volunteer@PeakProsperity.com. We'll get back to you with the application form and further information.

Thanks for your interest in helping the cause!
