This community is for people considering relocating themselves and their families within the United States - whether across town or across the country. We can consider maps, demographics, weather, climate, economic opportunities, etc. We can also discuss what it takes to pick up and leave family and friends behind, get used to a new community with new social mores and unspoken traditions, and set down new roots and build a new support system.

Leading a well-prepared and resilient lifestyle as a single adult is a different experience than prepping or homesteading as part of a marital team or domestic partnership.  Here we will explore challenges and solutions, advantages and disadvantages to either "going it alone" or facing the future as a single adult responsible for the care of children or elder family members.

The purpose of this PP Investment Group is to offer mutual support and helpful information to our members who are seeking to build financial wealth across the vast array of investment vehicles (stocks, bonds, precious metals, other tangible assets, retirement funds, options, etc), but doing so in a manner that takes into consideration the incredible macroeconomic challenges facing all of us that The Crash Course identifies.

Preparing for the future is something we do today.  It is not the destination but the journey that matters, so we prepare with joy in our hearts and an eye towards beauty.  Community building is a process, not an event.  The more we can do to positively engage with the world around us, the better.  

This is an 'all hands on deck' moment in history and everybody will be asked to contribute and everybody has something to contribute.

This very diverse mega-region emcompasses over 23 million people living in an area of 56 thousand square miles, ranging from urban to suburban to rural, covering coastline, hills, scrubland, forests, mountains, and deserts - covering San Luis Obispo, Kern, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, San Benardino, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial counties, though the bulk of population is centered around Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties.

This group is being put together to see if there are any other members of this site living in one of the five boroughs. As one might expect living in such a political and economic powerhouse as NYC, much of the population is quite unaware or in denail of what is happening around them (or simply feel they know better).

As such, the purpose of this group is to give us city folk a place to connect and serve as confirmation that you aren't the only one in a city of 8 million thinking about the big picture.
