Carrot / Parsnip bed ready

The beauty of a newly dug and prepped garden bed.

Jammed throught double digging this bed on Sunday (3 hours - who needs a gym membership) and my wife planted carrots, parsnips, and beets today. It is 4 ft. wide and 12 long in each direction. We amended with alfafa pellets (nitrogen) and rock phospate. A layer of compost was also added. 24 inches of pure growing goodness. Good to go!
