where to go from here?

wonderful site Chris. i am eagerly awaiting the rest of the course.
i was told years ago to buy gold, and didnt listen. now i am listening.i am now in the process of acquiring gold and silver because i believe we have limited time in the lifestyle we are currently living.some people point to the idea that we may relive another great depression. if so, what predictions could be made as to the best areas of employment. also, should we start stockpiling food, essential supplies etc? can anyone recommend a book/ resources that would address these issues?
