An excellent interview with Damon Vrabel (Strabes) on RT television. Pay attention folks, this guy clearly understands what he is talking about.
Rock on, strabes!!!
p.s. Just curious - how'd you get on Russian TV???
Last time I checked it was a crate of vodka!
Awesome! Too bad he went to Harvard.....
Super watch! Says a lot for this community that CM built when it's members start getting interviewed on TV.
Kudos Strabes, great interview!
You nailed it!
strabes for President in 2012!
Erik, they just contacted me after my last article.
Thanks everybody. I felt like I got a few key points across, but as my own greatest critic, I wasn't so thrilled with my delivery nor the setting. But perhaps it's a seed to be cultivated.
The danger of TV is the soundbite format, so when I said the Fed should be disbanded, I didn't get to explain that I mean in the long-term because it has no place in a free republic. But in the short-term, we need the Fed...they've got us in an extortion situation. The Fed's power should be nationalized and then the debt system should be managed down as we work on a monetary solution. We can't just disband the Fed overnight without a monetary fix. That would kill the US...as we all know given CM's 1st E, we have no money without debt.
This is awesome!
The tentacles of this site are starting to spread out. I think it is important that we all engage in activities outisde of posting to this forum. I'd love to see more of this type of publicity in the future, we can't rely on Chris to be the only spokesman. This was incredible, great job Strabes.

Nicely done Damon.
Was there more that didn't make the clip?
Damon did a great job -- and each of the articles of his that I've read are on target better than most
He faces the same problem we all do in that the "sound bite" version of a giant set of issues is nearly impossible to boil down to a crisp message that people who have not been studying the issues for some time can understand.
Damon's message is clear to most of us on the Martensen website and very well done as a presentation to the (partially) knowledgeable, however I fear many of the main points can be too easily missed by the first time viewer/listener.
Patience and perseverance, I suppose. Let's keep pushing the message -- the world is starting to listen.
I would only disagree on one thing: your self criticism. The delivery was excellent-you came across very well. The setting is irrelevant-the message is really all that matters and that was a 3+ minute homer.
Damon, that was outstanding.
thanks everybody. I appreciate it.
Dogs, there are no more clips. we hooked in live over webcam, she asked those questions, that was it.
she caught me offguard saying "harsh" at the beginning. I don't think it's harsh. I think "oligarchy" is just a descriptive political science term, not a harsh word. but that's why I mentioned middle school civics class...maybe that's what would make someone think it was harsh.
