Looking for like-minded. Is there a singles thread?

I'm new to this forum.  For the last 8 months I have been studying our economy and especially enjoy Chris Martenson's view points.  However, now that my way of thinking has changed, I find it challenging to find others who feel the same.  Can anyone direct me in the right direction to find others?  I'm single, 46 years old, female, and ready to make a life-style change.  Thanks!

The perfect zombie apocolypse house

The perfect house for 1% to hide in until things blow over is up for sale for a mere 1.75 million.

The only question is what is its energy source?  I am sure it is off grid,  but I suspect it is diesel generator dependant....

"You can't eat Gold"

We've probably all heard this tired old cliche - you can't eat Gold.

There are a significant number of opinions out there that cast Gold as both a useless waste of money, and an invaluable method of asset protection. There are anecdotes about trading in metals in SHTF, and there are situations where it's simply made a person a target during periods of lawlessness.

FerFAL - 5 Most Underrated Survival Skills

FerFAL has a very good video presentation, with accompanying article, on "The 5 Most Underrated Survival Skills for Survivalists".  I think most people here are familiar with FerFAL, but if you aren't, he has a lot of great experience from living through the economic collapse in Argentina.  He makes some insightful comments about prepping realistically that carry weight given his background. I really like the combination of his experience and pragmatic nature.

Does mankind deserve a second chance?

I have a couple questions for people to ponder.  I have,  actually, thought a lot about these questions:

  1. Does man deserve a second chance after destroying our environment?
  2. Do we deserve another chance when we have been so selfish?
  3. Do we deserve another chance for all the misery we have caused in the world?
  4. Does a certain portion of the population need to go away as our world can not support so many people?

Heavy questions have tough answers.

Lights Out by David Crawford is finally in print!

For those of you who enjoy survival fiction, this book is the cat's meow. It is a similar disaster as One Second After, EMP, and has been an internet cult classic for years. Sadly it has disappeared from the net in its full 700 page glory, but the 600 page, dead tree copy should really rock.

In the face of the 3E's how valuable is human life?

Forgive me in advance if this topic turns out to be too contreversial.

I'm having a moral dilemma after readng and thinking about a comment I read on ZeroHedge:

“Okay Einstein, let me spell it out for you in child-like terms:
