Looks nice!
Site will be offline for a few hours tonight
I just want to alert everyone to the fact that the site will be undergoing maintenance and a minor upgrade tonight and will be offline from 12:00 a.m. EST for a few hours.
The forums will look slightly different, but will operate just the same.
Otherwise, this is to plug a few holes, upgrade a few things and get up to the latest versions of a few modules.
No other changes at this time.
Best,
Chris

Thanks Davos! If anyone notices any issues due to the upgrade, send me a message.

Yes, indeed the changes are nice!
The light blue in the forum area is much easier on the eyes, thank you. The "top" button is nice as well. Thank you CM team for all always continuing to improve the site... Your time and efforts are appreciated.

Hi, Ron;
I like the new format . . . It's easy on the eyes and I like the new juxtaposition of information in the posts . . . It's easy to absorb the context of a post, at a glance, and the "top" button makes it easy to refer to the root post of the thread . . . Thanks!

ditto all that. two thumbs up!
Yes, I do agree the "top" button is a helpful addition. Another item I added that others had asked for previously are the paging controls at the top of the forum threads.
So to get to the last page of a long thread, it is no longer necessary to scroll to the bottom of the page... the controls are on both the top and bottom.
Also the threaded layout should work better than it has in the past. If anyone prefers to view posts where each reply is indented beneath its corresponding post (rather than as a "flat" layout), just switch the "Comment viewing options" to "Threaded list - expanded."

Yes! While I usually set my preferences to have the last post at the top, I occasionally want to browse without logging on . . . which requires that I get to the last page of the thread to see the most recent post . . . Your new change makes that process much quicker . . . I know it sounds petty, but even those few seconds of repeated hassle add up, in the sense of time management. Thanks, Ron!
